Gold Algo Lab Copier copies trades between MetaTrader 5 accounts running on the same PC or VPS. One EA, two modes: attach it in Master mode on the source account and in Slave mode on each receiving account. Trades are passed through MT5's shared Common Files folder, so there is no external server, no internet relay and no monthly subscription.
What it copies
- New positions (buy and sell), opened within the update interval (200 ms by default)
- Stop loss and take profit, including later changes on the master
- Full closes: when the master closes, the slave copy is closed
- Partial closes: the slave closes the same proportion of its position
- Positions already open on the master when the slave starts (optional)
Key features
- One master to any number of slaves, and several independent master/slave groups using different Channels
- Three lot modes: master lot x multiplier, fixed lot, or proportional to balance
- Maximum lot cap per trade
- Copy between different brokers: strip the master's symbol suffix and add the slave broker's prefix/suffix (e.g. XAUUSD.r to XAUUSD.pro)
- Master filters: copy only one magic number and/or a list of symbols
- Safety: if the master goes offline, copying pauses and open copies are left untouched until it returns
- Free margin is checked before opening; failed opens are retried up to 5 times
- Restart-safe: trades closed on the slave (e.g. by its own SL/TP) are not re-opened after a restart
- On-chart status panel showing mode, channel, status and copied positions
Quick setup
- Install a separate MT5 terminal for each account (MT5 runs one account per terminal), all on the same PC or VPS.
- On the source account, attach the EA to any chart with Mode = Master.
- On each receiving account, attach the EA with Mode = Slave and the same Channel as the master.
- Enable Algo Trading in every terminal. The slave panel shows "Copying" when it is connected.

Important notes
- All terminals must be on the same computer or VPS. This copier does not work across different machines.
- Hedging accounts are recommended for slaves. On netting accounts, positions on the same symbol are merged by the broker, so copies may not match 1:1.
- Market positions are copied. Pending orders are copied once they trigger on the master.
- The Strategy Tester cannot run a second terminal, so in the tester the EA places small demonstration trades instead of copying. Use it on demo accounts to see real copying.
