Model Filtered Signals marks buy and sell signals on the chart, but only the ones a trained model accepts. Every candidate signal is scored by the model, and the arrow is shown only when its confidence is high enough. The confidence figure is printed beside each arrow, so you can see how strongly the model rated it.
Please note
The model filters signals; it does not guarantee that a trade will be profitable, and accepted signals can still fail. Use the arrows together with your own analysis and proper risk management.
How it works
- A fixed rule proposes each signal on a closed candle.
- A model trained for that symbol and timeframe scores it. The model can only remove signals - it never creates one.
- Signals at or above the model's confidence threshold are drawn as arrows. Each model has its own threshold, chosen when it was trained, and you can set your own instead.
- Arrows appear after the candle has closed and do not repaint.
Supported markets
- Gold (XAUUSD), EURJPY, GBPUSD and USDJPY on M1, M5 and M15.
- USDCAD on M5 and M15.
- The model is chosen automatically from the chart's symbol and timeframe, and symbol names with a broker suffix are recognised. On any other chart the indicator says so instead of drawing signals.
- Everything is built into the indicator: there are no model files to download or copy.
On the chart
- Buy and sell arrows with the model's confidence beside them.
- Optionally, the signals the model filtered out, marked in grey with their score.
- Support and resistance zones drawn from recent turning points.
- A status panel with the model in use, its threshold, the number of signals and the time of the last one.
Alerts
Popup, sound, push notification to the MetaTrader mobile app, and email when a new signal is accepted. The alert gives the symbol, timeframe, direction, confidence and price.
Parameters
- Model: automatic or a specific model, and an optional confidence threshold of your own.
- Signals: the number of bars scanned.
- Display: arrow colours, size and distance, confidence figures, filtered signals, support and resistance zones and their sensitivity, and the status panel.
- Alerts: popup, push notification, email and sound, each on or off.
Notes
- The indicator does not open or manage trades.
- It has no output buffers, so its signals cannot be read by Expert Advisors or other indicators.
- It works on a chart and in the Strategy Tester in visual mode.
- Requires MetaTrader 5 build 5572 or newer.
