I build Expert Advisors, indicators and small tools for MT4 and MT5, mostly around gold (XAUUSD) and risk management. Three of my own EAs are in the Market (Kernvio series) and I run a public signal, so I've seen what goes wrong once code hits a real broker: tick value on gold, spread spikes at - Version: 1.66

What it does
- 174 fixed strategy variants in 31 groups, each group with a fixed weight
- Bitcoin and Ethereum: breakout, Keltner and moving-average trend entries on H1 and H4, daily trend and momentum, range-expansion entries on H4, H6 and H8, Ichimoku on H8, Bollinger squeeze on H12
- USDJPY and Brent: daily trend and momentum. Gold: H4 breakout and Keltner trend
- Every trade has a stop loss. Exits by trailing stop, channel exit, opposite signal or time, depending on the strategy
- Volatility targeting: new positions are scaled so the account aims for 60 % yearly volatility (adjustable)
- Margin check before every order, handling of the broker's maximum volume per symbol, optional overflow to a second symbol (for example ETHUSD-PERP) for large accounts
- Symbol names with broker suffixes are found automatically. Missing markets are switched off, the rest keeps trading
- Dashboard on the chart: equity, volatility scaling, open positions and floating result per market
Backtest, real ticks, 10 000 USD, 1 % risk per group, volatility target 60 %, February 2020 to September 2026
- 10 000 USD grew to 5.15 million USD with compounding
- Maximum relative drawdown: equity 52.5 %, balance 49.3 % (2023)
- 36 236 trades, profit factor 1.17
- The same portfolio without volatility targeting had a 60 % equity drawdown
Please read before buying
- Bitcoin and Ethereum produce most of the result. A weak crypto year hits the whole account.
- Drawdowns of around 50 % happened in testing and can happen again. Lower the risk setting if that is too much.
- Part of the crypto strategy selection used 2020-2022 data, so the full-period backtest is better than what you should expect live. The rules were tested on eight other coins (BCH, SOL, ADA, DOT, DOGE, XLM, UNI, AXS) and did not work there, so the EA does not trade them.
- Small accounts skip trades when the calculated lot is below the broker's minimum. 10 000 USD or more is recommended.
- Past results do not guarantee future results.
Settings
- Risk per group, volatility target and scaling limits, margin use, optional limit for the total open risk
- Broker symbol names for the five markets (leave a field empty to switch that market off), optional overflow symbols, sharing of the broker volume limit
- Slippage, magic number base, minimum stop distances
- Dashboard, dark chart style, optional trade log
- Strategy parameters are fixed inside the EA
Recommended
Attach to one chart only (any symbol, H1). Hedging account (on netting accounts the EA opens at most one position per symbol). Broker with BTCUSD, ETHUSD, USDJPY, Brent and XAUUSD. The EA trades crypto on weekends, so a VPS that runs 24/7 is recommended.
