Brain-Gated Dual-Grid Campaign Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5
Alpha Horse EA is an automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that combines a six-module composite market-bias engine (“the Brain”) with a disciplined, percent-of-balance risk-managed dual-grid execution engine. The Brain's directional bias and confidence score gate the seeding of each new trading campaign; once a ladder leg is open, the execution engine manages that campaign independently on its own price-based spacing and profit-lock logic, so a live campaign is never re-litigated on a single signal wobble.
This EA is intended for traders who understand automated trading systems, grid/ladder position management, and the risks associated with leveraged markets.

• Account types: Hedging accounts recommended. Netting accounts are supported for single-direction operation (Buy Only / Sell Only); both-direction operation and the trend-following recovery hedge require a hedging account and are automatically disabled on a netting account rather than the EA failing to start

Core Trading Logic
Alpha Horse EA's composite six-module signal engine (“the Brain”):
• Combines WaveTrend momentum, pivot-based channel direction, a 4-pole Gaussian trend filter, 3-timeframe moving-average bias, structure break-of-structure / change-of-character detection, and volume confirmation into one weighted bias score and confidence reading
• Seeds a new campaign leg only when both bias and confidence clear their configured thresholds, in the confirmed direction only
• Builds a price-spaced ladder of positions once a campaign is seeded, with configurable additive or multiplier lot growth and a hard cap on the number of legs per direction
• Lets a live campaign run on its own deterministic spacing and profit-lock logic — the Brain gates new campaign seeds, it does not interrupt or re-signal a ladder that is already open

Risk & Trade Management
• Percent-of-balance profit lock (arm / giveback / hard target / max loss) that scales automatically to any account size
• Optional points-based trailing lock on the grid's combined average P/L
• Configurable additive or multiplier lot growth per leg, with hard ceilings on total and directional lot exposure
• Trend-following recovery hedge: once a struggling direction's floating loss crosses a configurable trigger, an opposite-direction hedge position — with its own tight trailing stop and real stop loss — can open to harvest the trend that is hurting the grid (hedging accounts only; bounded number of cycles per direction, with a cooldown between cycles)
• Stuck-hedge timeout: force-flattens a campaign that stays capped on both sides with no net progress for a configurable number of hours
• Emergency dead-man stop: every position, grid or recovery, carries a real broker-side stop loss as a last-resort floor if the terminal or connection goes offline
• Spread filter, free-margin reserve check, and maximum total/directional lot ceilings enforced before every new entry
• Never detaches on an invalid input — out-of-range inputs are automatically clamped to a safe value and surfaced as a configuration warning on the chart dashboard instead of failing to initialize
