Black Move MT5 — Adaptive Trading Algorithm for MetaTrader 5
You know that feeling when you close a trade manually and immediately regret it? Either you got out too early and watched price run another fifty pips, or you held too long and gave back everything. I have done both. More times than I care to admit.
That is why I started building automated systems. Not because I think robots are smarter than humans, but because they do not panic. They do not revenge-trade. They do not check their phone at 3 AM and make impulsive decisions.
Black Move MT5 came from that place. It is an algorithm I developed for MetaTrader 5 after roughly three years of testing different approaches. Some worked for a month then fell apart. Some never worked at all. This one finally showed consistency across different market phases, so I decided to release it properly.
What It Actually Does
Markets basically do two things. They trend hard in one direction, or they chop around and eventually reverse. Most EAs are built for only one of those scenarios. Trend EAs get destroyed in ranging markets. Reversal EAs get run over during strong trends.
Black Move MT5 tries to handle both. It runs an adaptive logic that checks whether the current market is showing strong directional momentum or signs of exhaustion. Depending on what it sees, it switches approach.
If instead the market has been trending for hours and starts showing divergence or exhaustion signals, it prepares for a potential reversal. It does not blindly counter-trend. It waits for confirmation, then enters when the probability shifts.
Honestly? No system gets every call right. But the goal here is to catch the high-probability setups and manage the risk on the ones that do not work out.
How the Money Management Works
Black Move MT5 gives you two straightforward options for lot sizing:
You choose the method in the inputs. You choose the values. I am not going to pretend I know your risk tolerance better than you do.
What You See on the Chart
There is an information panel that sits on your chart. It shows your current account status, open trade details, and how the EA is performing today. Nothing fancy. No neon colors or flashing alerts. Just clean information you can glance at without getting distracted.
I personally find it useful for monitoring without having to dig through the terminal reports. You might too. Or you might ignore it completely. Either way, it is there.
Risk Controls Built In
- Stop Loss on every trade. No exceptions.
- Take Profit you define.
- Trailing Stop optional. Turn it on or off depending on your style.
- Max Spread Filter — If your broker suddenly widens spreads during news, the EA will not take the trade. I have seen Gold spreads jump to fifty points on some brokers during NFP. This filter protects you from getting ripped off.
There is also an optional Recovery Mode. I will be honest with you — I am not a huge fan of recovery systems in general. They can help in some situations, but they can also compound problems if the market keeps moving against you. I included it because some traders asked for it, but I have it disabled by default. If you want to use it, test it thoroughly on demo first. Please.
Broker and Setup Recommendations
Here is what I have found after running this on multiple accounts:
VPS: If you are serious about automated trading, get a VPS. Your home WiFi cutting out during a London session move is not something you want to deal with. I run all my EAs on VPS. It just makes life easier.
Test Before You Trade Live
Watch how it handles news events. Watch how it behaves when Gold is ranging versus trending. Get comfortable with it before you put real money on the line.
After Purchase — What Happens
- A proper installation guide with actual screenshots
- My recommended input settings file
- Answers to whatever questions you have
I check messages daily. Sometimes I am asleep or away from the desk, but I always respond. If something is not working right, tell me. I have helped buyers fix issues that turned out to be simple broker configuration problems. I would rather help you get it running than have you frustrated.
The Real Risk Talk
I have to say this, and I want you to actually read it.
Past performance of Black Move MT5 — whether from backtesting, demo testing, or my own live results — does not guarantee future results. Markets change. The conditions that made this algorithm profitable last month might not exist next month.
Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose. If you are unsure about anything, speak to an independent financial advisor before using this or any automated trading system.
