What my indicator's self-audit checks, and what it does not

My non-repainting indicator checks itself, and I would rather tell you where it stops than let the word audit do more work than the code does. What it does: on attach, it re-derives every expected gap from the closed bars and compares it with the stored record, over up to fifty closed bars. If it found at least one gap, it prints one line saying how many bars it re-checked and whether the levels match. If it found no gap, it prints nothing. What it does not do: it does not re-check anything later in the session, and it stops at the first record matching a given impulse time and direction, so a duplicated record is never reported. It is a one-shot check at attach time, and that is the whole of it. What it means for you: a self-audit that passes tells you the engine agrees with itself once, on attach, over the window it looked at. It does not tell you the indicator is right.
