EVA Gold Trade Manager is a trade panel for MetaTrader 5, designed around gold (XAUUSD). You decide every trade. EVA sizes it by risk, places the stop and the target, manages it with breakeven, partial closes and a trailing stop, guards the account with daily, weekly and drawdown limits, shows what the broker really charged you, and explains your account in plain words with an AI assistant that runs on your own key. It never opens a trade by itself.
This guide goes through every button, screen and setting. The panel is made for gold (XAUUSD): its defaults and the sessions block were set for it.

1. Installation and permissions
- In the Navigator window open Expert Advisors > Market and drag EVA Gold Trade Manager onto a chart. An XAUUSD chart is its natural place, and any timeframe works.
- In the window that opens, on the Common tab, tick Allow Algo Trading and press OK.
- Turn on Algo Trading in the MetaTrader toolbar. Without it the panel still shows everything, but it cannot send orders and the pill at the top says ALGO TRADING OFF.
EVA leaves your chart as it is: colors, grid and scale do not change.
The AI and Telegram are optional and need one more permission. MetaTrader lets a program reach the internet only at the addresses you allow. In Tools > Options > Expert Advisors tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL and add the addresses you will use:
| Service | Address to add |
|---|---|
| Google Gemini | https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com |
| Groq | https://api.groq.com |
| OpenRouter | https://openrouter.ai |
| OpenAI | https://api.openai.com |
| Anthropic | https://api.anthropic.com |
| DeepSeek | https://api.deepseek.com |
| Mistral | https://api.mistral.ai |
| xAI | https://api.x.ai |
| Ollama or another OpenAI-compatible server | the address of your server |
| Telegram | https://api.telegram.org |
EVA talks to the AI provider you pick, with your key, and to your own Telegram bot. Nothing else goes out. The broker's GMT offset and the summer time of London and New York are detected automatically (input Broker GMT offset in hours, 99 = auto).
2. First start and Quick Start
The panel opens in the language of your MetaTrader: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese or Korean, and English for any other. The language button next to MENU (EN, ES, PT...) changes the panel, the screens, the Telegram messages and the AI with one click. The Experts log stays in English, so a message can be searched the same way anywhere.
Before the first trade, give EVA your rules. It takes a minute:
- Press MENU. The first time it opens on QUICK START; later, pick QUICK START in the list on the left.
- Pick a profile and press APPLY.
- Press SAVE, so the profile is still there after a restart. Or switch AUTOSAVE on in SETTINGS and every change is kept by itself.
| Profile | What it sets |
|---|---|
| PERSONAL | Risk 1% per trade from the panel, daily loss limit 5%, weekly 10%. Prop mode off. |
| PROP CHALLENGE | Risk 0.5% per trade, prop mode on: profit target 8%, daily loss 4.5%, maximum drawdown 9.5%, a margin inside the common 5% / 10% rules of a two-phase challenge. Put your firm's own numbers in RISK CENTER. |
| STRICT | Risk 0.25% per trade, daily loss 2%, weekly 4%, drawdown 8%, and the panel locked during NFP, CPI and FOMC. |
Every profile sizes the panel by risk and switches the news shield on. No profile switches on the Account guard or touches your lot cap. Every value stays editable in RISK CENTER and SETTINGS, and UNDO (it shows the time of the change) brings back what you had before. Without a profile, EVA starts with a fixed lot of 0.01 and a daily loss limit of 8%.
3. The panel and the screens
The panel is one block drawn on the chart. Drag it by its header. The - button folds it to the header and + opens it again. If it looks too big or too small on your screen, change the input Panel size (1.0 by default). Its position is remembered for each chart.
The header shows EVA TRADE MANAGER, the status pill, the language button, MENU, and the GMT and broker clocks. The pill always says whether you can open a trade now, and if not, why:
| Pill | Meaning |
|---|---|
| READY | Nothing stops a new trade. |
| GUARD: DAY LOSS, WEEK LOSS, MAX DD, PROP DD | A loss limit was reached and the panel is locked (section 7). |
| GUARD: DAY TARGET, PROP TARGET, CONSISTENCY | A profit rule was reached. The panel is locked and open trades stay open. |
| PANEL LOCKED | You locked it, from RISK CENTER, the TELEGRAM screen or with /pause. |
| WEEKEND | The optional Friday close is active. |
| NEWS: NFP, CPI, FOMC | Inside a news window. New trades are locked only if you chose it (section 9). |
| ALGO TRADING OFF | MetaTrader does not let the panel send orders. |
| LIMIT WARNING | A loss limit is 80% used (input Warn once when a loss limit is this % used). |
Under the header, from top to bottom:
- Three cards: EQUITY with the balance, TODAY against the balance at the start of the day, and FLOATING.
- SESSIONS: Asia, London and New York, the ATR, the spread and the next strong news (section 9).
- Four tabs: MARKET, RISK, COST and AI NOTE.
- MANUAL TRADE: size, BUY and SELL (section 4).
- Six buttons: PLAN, BREAKEVEN, CLOSE HALF, CLOSE WINS, CLOSE LOSSES and CLOSE ALL (sections 4 and 5).
The MARKET tab shows TREND H1 (the price against its 50-period average on H1: UPTREND, DOWNTREND or SIDEWAYS), VOLATILITY (ATR(M15) in points, LOW under 75% of its average over the last 24 hours and HIGH over 135%), SPREAD now with the average you paid this month, EXECUTION (a rating of the fills measured so far) and NEWS. The RISK tab shows the day loss, week loss and drawdown as bars against their limits, the panel size (or the prop target in prop mode) and CONFLICT GUARD, which counts the other trades on this symbol that the panel does not manage. COST is in section 8. AI NOTE shows the latest note of the AI, or a warning when a limit is close.
MENU opens a full-chart screen. CLOSE or Esc goes back to the chart, and every screen has its own language button.
| Screen | What you find |
|---|---|
| QUICK START | The three profiles and what is active now (section 2). |
| JOURNAL | Your closed trades on this symbol for 30 days, 90 days or all: NET RESULT, TRADES, WIN RATE, PROFIT FACTOR, MAX DRAWDOWN, the cumulative result, results by origin (from the panel, by hand, other experts) and the last trades. |
| RISK CENTER | Every limit and how much of it is used, the limits to edit, and LOCK PANEL (section 7). |
| NEWS | The economic calendar of MetaTrader (section 9). |
| SETTINGS | Quick settings and ALL SETTINGS (section 12). |
| AI NOTES | Provider, key, calls, tokens, cost and the notes (section 10). |
| TELEGRAM | Your bot, your chat and what is sent (section 11). |
| ASK EVA | The chat with the AI assistant (section 10). |
4. Manual trading and the planner
The chip at the right of MANUAL TRADE switches between SIZE BY LOT and SIZE BY RISK %. The - and + buttons change the lot (by the symbol's lot step) or the risk (steps of 0.1 below 1% and 0.25 above, from 0.1% to 10%). In risk mode the lot that will really be sent is written under the percentage.
The lot always respects the broker: the symbol's minimum, step and volume limit, the free margin (5% is kept aside) and your own Max lot per trade. When the lot cannot follow your setting, the panel says it in red before you click, for example "min lot 0.01 risks 1.35%, more than the 1.00% chosen", and repeats it with the result of the order. If the margin cannot hold even the minimum lot, no order is sent.
SELL shows the bid and BUY the ask. One click opens at market with the stop already in place and, by default, a target at twice the stop:
- Stop: in points (200 by default) or as a multiple of ATR(M15) (1.5 by default). Choose it in SETTINGS > PANEL > ONE-CLICK STOP. It is never closer than the broker allows.
- Target: input Manual take-profit as a multiple of the stop, 2.0 by default, 0 = no target.
- Points are the symbol's own. On gold quoted with two decimals, 200 points is 2.00 in price.
The line under the buttons shows the stop, the target, the money at risk and how many trades are open with their floating result. After a click it shows what happened for 15 seconds, in red when the server refused the order.
One more line is checked before every click. It holds data only, never a verdict: the money this click risks, the room left before the daily loss limit (or the distance to the prop target), the spread now with this month's average, the sessions open and the next strong news. For example: RISK 25.00 / DAY ROOM 480.00, then SPREAD 18 PTS (AVG 21), LDN+NY and CPI IN 45 MIN.
The planner draws the trade on the chart before you send it:
- Press PLAN. Three dashed lines appear: entry (gold), stop loss (red) and take profit (green).
- Drag them. A stop below the entry makes a buy, a stop above the entry a sell.
- EVA picks the order type. An entry at or right next to the current price is a market order. Away from it, the order is a BUY LIMIT, BUY STOP, SELL LIMIT or SELL STOP.
- A red zone shows the risk and a green zone the reward, with the money and the R:R written on the lines and the lot on the entry line.
- BUY and SELL become CANCEL and a button with the name of the order. Press it to send. While the lines do not make a valid trade the button reads ADJUST LINES, and the info line says why, for example a stop too close for the broker's minimum distance.
In risk mode the lot follows the distance to the stop, so moving the stop keeps the money at risk and changes the lot. Pending orders stay until you cancel them. To send a trade without a target, select the green line and delete it. Live, the lines move freely. In the Strategy Tester MetaTrader does not pass the drag of a line to the program, so there the planner cannot be moved; BUY, SELL and the other buttons work.
5. Managing open trades
These buttons act on the trades in scope on this chart's symbol (section 6):
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| BREAKEVEN | Moves the stop of every trade in scope to 50 points past its entry, on the profit side (input Breakeven: points kept beyond the entry). If the price has not moved far enough from the entry for the broker to accept it, EVA says so and moves nothing. |
| CLOSE HALF | Closes half of each trade in scope, on hedging and netting accounts. The lot has to be at least twice the minimum lot. |
| CLOSE WINS | Closes the trades in profit. |
| CLOSE LOSSES | Closes the trades in loss. |
| CLOSE ALL | Closes every trade in scope and deletes the panel's own pending orders. Under its name it shows the scope: PANEL, MANUAL or ALL. The first press arms it in red (PRESS AGAIN), and a second press within 3 seconds closes. Any other button disarms it. |
Two automatic tools, off by default, are set in the inputs or in ALL SETTINGS:
- Automatic breakeven when a trade reaches this many R. R is the distance from the entry to the trade's first stop. With 1.0, a trade that has gained as much as it risked gets its stop at the entry plus the breakeven points, on the profit side. The first stop is remembered, so moving the stop later does not change R. A trade opened from the phone without a stop takes its R from the first stop you give it.
- Trailing stop: off, in points (300) or as a multiple of ATR(M15) (2.0). It starts once it would sit beyond the entry and only moves the stop forward.
When the broker refuses a stop, EVA tries again 20 seconds later and says it once on the panel. With Algo Trading off, breakeven and trailing wait. The guard, a news window and the panel lock stop new trades only: BREAKEVEN and the closes keep working.
6. Which trades EVA manages
The input Trades the panel manages and the guard closes, also in SETTINGS > PANEL > TRADES MANAGED, decides it. It always works on this chart's symbol.
| Choice | Trades managed |
|---|---|
| PANEL | Only the trades opened from this panel. |
| MANUAL (default) | The panel's trades and the ones you open by hand on this symbol: MetaTrader's one-click trading, the phone app and the web terminal. |
| ALL | Every trade on this symbol, other experts' trades included. |
With MANUAL, EVA checks who opened each trade. A trade opened by a person counts. A trade opened by a program without a magic number (another expert, a copier, a script) does not. EVA never touches another expert's trades unless you choose ALL.
The choice applies everywhere: the management buttons, breakeven and trailing, the guard's closes, COST, the Journal, the Telegram alerts and the AI notes. One detail on closed trades: the account history keeps only the magic number, so in COST, the Journal, the Telegram alerts and the AI notes a program's trade with magic 0 counts as one opened by hand. Open trades are always checked by who opened them. The panel's own trades carry the magic number 72100 and a comment that starts with EVA TM. If Ask EVA proposes a different scope, it always asks for a double confirmation.
7. Account guard and prop mode
The guard measures the whole account's equity, the way a broker or a prop firm does: against the balance at the start of the day (GMT), at the start of the week (Monday) and against the highest balance. A restart does not reset those starting points.
| Limit | Default | When it is reached |
|---|---|---|
| Max daily loss, % of the day-start balance | 8% | Locks the panel until the next day and closes the trades in scope |
| Max weekly loss, % of the week-start balance | off | Locks until next week and closes |
| Max drawdown, % from the balance peak | off | Locks and closes |
| Stop after a daily profit, % | off | Locks for the rest of the day, open trades stay open |
| Warning, % of a loss limit used | 80% | LIMIT WARNING on the pill and a Telegram alert |
| Max lot per trade | 0 = broker limit | Caps every lot of the panel |
When a limit locks the panel:
- BUY, SELL and the planner refuse new trades and say which limit stopped them.
- With When a limit is reached, close the trades in scope on (the default), a loss limit closes the trades in scope and deletes their pending orders. While that lock lasts, any trade in scope that appears is closed too, for example one opened from your phone. A profit rule deletes the pending orders in scope and leaves the open trades open. Switch it off (SETTINGS > A LIMIT CLOSES THE TRADES) and a limit only locks the panel.
- BREAKEVEN and the closes keep working.
- A daily lock ends at the next day and a weekly lock at the next week. A drawdown lock stays until you raise or switch off that limit. Raising or switching off a limit in RISK CENTER ends its lock, as long as the account is inside the new limit.
Account guard, off by default, goes further: at a loss limit it closes every position and pending order on the account, other symbols and other experts included, and keeps closing anything reopened while the lock lasts. No profile switches it on. Only you can, in RISK CENTER or in the inputs.
Flatten before the weekend, also off by default, closes the trades in scope on Friday at 21:00 GMT (input Friday flatten hour) and keeps new trades locked until the week opens.
Prop mode adds the rules of a funded challenge, with defaults set a little inside the common 5% daily and 10% total limits:
- Profit target 8%: when the balance reaches it, the panel locks and open trades stay open.
- Daily loss 4.5%, from the balance at the start of the day (with a normal daily limit also set, the lower one applies), and maximum drawdown 9.5%, from the challenge start balance (0 = the balance the first time EVA ran on this account and symbol).
- Prop mode: a loss limit also closes the trades in scope, on by default.
- Consistency rule: the day stops once today's profit reaches this share of the profit target (0 = off).
- Trading days the firm requires: counted and shown, they lock nothing.
The RISK CENTER screen puts all of this in one place. On the left: the live status with LOCK PANEL, bars for the daily loss, the weekly loss and the drawdown (the prop drawdown in prop mode), the prop target with the trading days, the last warning, and one sentence that says what a limit will do with your switches as they are now. On the right: daily loss, weekly loss, maximum drawdown, warning level, daily profit stop and max lot with - and +, and the Account guard and Prop mode switches (with the target, the daily loss and the drawdown when prop mode is on).
LOCK PANEL is a discipline brake. It locks new trades from the panel until you press UNLOCK PANEL or send /resume, also after a restart. Nothing is closed or deleted. The same lock is on the TELEGRAM screen and in /pause.
8. What your broker really costs
The COST tab adds up, in account money, what the trades in scope cost you this calendar month:
- SPREAD paid at the entry.
- SLIPPAGE against the price requested, at the entry and at the exit. A negative value is a price improvement.
- COMMISSION / SWAP: the broker's commission and fees, and the overnight swap (negative = credited).
- PER TRADE: the average cost of one trade.
- TOTAL for the month, with the number of trades.
EVA counts each fill as it happens, so a trade made while EVA is off the chart is not in the month. The month survives restarts. The average spread you paid also appears in the MARKET tab and in the line checked before a click, so a spread wider than usual is visible before you trade. Run EVA on two brokers for a month and you see, with your own numbers, which one charges you more for the same trading. Ask EVA "How much is my broker really charging me?" and it reads the tab for you.
9. Sessions and news
The SESSIONS block shows Asia (00:00-09:00 GMT), London and New York (08:00-17:00 on their own clocks), Monday to Friday. Each tile says OPEN or the time to the open (IN 45 MIN, IN 3:25) and turns gold in the hour before the open. London and New York follow their own summer time, so the bar above the tiles shows today's opens in GMT. The next tiles show ATR(M15) and the spread in points, and the next strong news with its countdown. EVA draws no boxes or arrows on your chart: the block is information.
The news shield reads the MetaTrader economic calendar, live, and marks a window around three USD releases:
| Event | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| NFP | 60 min | 60 min |
| CPI | 30 min | 60 min |
| FOMC | 60 min | 150 min |
By default a window is information: the pill shows NEWS: CPI and the panel stays open. Switch on NEWS LOCKS THE PANEL in SETTINGS to lock new trades during the windows; the STRICT profile does it for you. Three more inputs, all off by default: mark every other high-impact USD event, delete pending orders before the news, and close open trades before the news. Bond auctions stay out of that list, because the calendar flags them high impact and they would add a window to the New York session on many days.
The NEWS screen lists the last 2 hours and the next 7 days in broker time. Two buttons filter it: USD ONLY or ALL CURRENCIES, and HIGH IMPACT, MEDIUM AND HIGH or ALL IMPACTS. The events that open a shield window are marked. UP, DOWN or the mouse wheel scroll the list. The calendar does not exist in the Strategy Tester.
10. Ask EVA and the AI notes
Ask EVA is a chat with an AI that sees your account as it is now: balance and equity, today's result, the trades in scope, each limit and how much of it is used, the month's broker cost, the sessions, the next news and every setting. Ask in your own words and it answers in the language you write in. The screen suggests a few questions to start:
- "Why can't I trade right now?"
- "How much is my broker really charging me?"
- "How much room is left before my daily limit?"
- "How is my account doing this week?"
- "Explain my last trade."
Ask EVA never opens, closes or changes a trade, and never gives a direction, an entry or a price level. It reads and explains.
It can also propose a change of settings, for example "lower my risk to 0.5% and set a weekly limit of 4%". The change appears as a card with each value now and after, and the lot a one-click trade would have afterwards. Nothing changes until you press CONFIRM, and CANCEL drops it. A riskier change (a bigger size, a protection switched off, a different scope) needs CONFIRM twice. UNDO takes it back for 10 minutes. Ask EVA cannot touch your keys, the bot token, the magic number or the AI and Telegram settings.
To connect it:
- Get a key. Google Gemini (the default) and Groq (the default backup) give free keys, from Google AI Studio and from the Groq console. OpenRouter has free and paid models with one key, and Mistral has free and paid keys. OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek and xAI are paid. A local Ollama, or any OpenAI-compatible server, works with the Custom provider and its chat-completions URL.
- Open MENU > SETTINGS > ALL SETTINGS > AI NOTES: PROVIDER, pick the provider and paste the key in its box (Ctrl+V or right-click > Paste), then press Enter. Keys show as dots and the eye button shows them. Each provider keeps its own key and model, so switching back and forth never loses them.
- Allow the provider's address in WebRequest (section 1).
- On the AI NOTES screen press TEST NOW.
Leave the model on AUTOMATIC and EVA picks one, free models first; the list of models is read live from the provider. When the main provider is busy or fails, the backup answers.
With a key in place EVA also writes a short note when a trade in scope opens and when it closes (how it ended: stop, target, stop in profit, closed by hand or by EVA), and one market briefing a day at 08:00 GMT. The notes appear in the AI NOTE tab, on the AI NOTES screen and on Telegram. That screen also shows the provider, the model, the key, the backup, the calls of today, the tokens and the cost of the month. Free keys show FREE. For paid models EVA carries a price list, and the inputs Paid models: USD per 1M input tokens and output tokens let you set your own prices.
To stay inside free tiers there are two daily caps: 30 AI calls for the notes and 40 Ask EVA questions. Both are inputs.
Type in the box and press Enter or SEND. NEW CHAT starts over, and after 30 idle minutes a new conversation starts by itself. HISTORY keeps your last 50 conversations on this account and symbol: open one to read it or press CONTINUE THIS CHAT, and DELETE THIS CHAT or DELETE ALL CHATS remove them (press twice). Ask EVA and the notes work on a live chart, not in the Strategy Tester.
11. Telegram
EVA talks to your own bot, in your own chat. Messages from any other chat are ignored.
- In Telegram open @BotFather, send /newbot and copy the token it gives you.
- Allow https://api.telegram.org in WebRequest (section 1).
- In EVA open MENU > TELEGRAM, paste the token in BOT TOKEN (Ctrl+V or right-click > Paste) and press CONNECT.
- Within 10 minutes, open your bot in Telegram and press Start, or send it any message. EVA links your chat by itself, keeps the token and the chat, and sends you a message.
- Press SEND TEST.
There is no chat ID to type. CHANGE CHAT links another chat the same way (a group, another account), LINK A CHAT opens the 10 minutes again, and a new bot keeps the same chat: paste its token and press Start in it.
In WHAT IS SENT each item switches ON or OFF with one click: trade opens and closes, guard alerts (a limit reached, a limit close, the weekend close), the AI notes, a daily summary at 21:00 GMT, and the commands from your chat. The input Send without notification sound makes the messages silent.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| /status | The account, today's result, the panel's state and size, and the trades managed |
| /positions | The open trades in scope, with stop and target |
| /today | Today's closed trades and result, by origin |
| /note | The latest AI note |
| /pause | Locks the panel: no new trades from it, open trades keep their stops |
| /resume | Unlocks the panel |
| /new | Starts a new Ask EVA conversation |
| /confirm code, /cancel, /undo code | A settings change that Ask EVA proposed |
| /help | The list of commands |
Any other text is a question for Ask EVA, answered in the language you write in. EVA adds the code to each proposal. A normal change goes in with one tap; a riskier one only when you type its code (/confirm 4821), so a stray tap never applies it.
/pause is the brake you carry on your phone. When you want to step away, lock the panel from wherever you are; it stays locked after a restart until /resume or UNLOCK PANEL. It locks the panel's buttons, not MetaTrader itself.
12. Settings and files
Every setting can be changed in three ways, with the same result:
- In the inputs window of MetaTrader (F7), with the names in English.
- From the panel: MENU > SETTINGS, and ALL SETTINGS for every input, in the language of EVA.
- By asking EVA, who proposes and waits for your CONFIRM (section 10).
The SETTINGS screen has two blocks. GUARD AND NEWS: the news shield, NEWS LOCKS THE PANEL, the weekend close and A LIMIT CLOSES THE TRADES. PANEL: the size (RISK % or FIXED LOT, with - and +), TRADES MANAGED and the ONE-CLICK STOP in points or ATR. The loss limits, the prop rules and the Account guard are in RISK CENTER.
ALL SETTINGS shows every input in groups. Switches change with one click, lists open with every option, and numbers and texts go in boxes: type or paste and press Enter. A gold edge marks a value that differs from your inputs.
A change works at once. SAVE writes it to MQL5\Files\EVAU_<account>_<symbol>.set, the file EVA reads at every start, and asks before overwriting it. SAVE AS writes a copy with a name you choose, LOAD reads one back, and AUTOSAVE ON writes every change within a second. Without SAVE, changes last until EVA restarts, and closing the screen with unsaved changes asks first. The file is a normal MetaTrader .set, so you can also load it in the inputs window.
BACK TO MY INPUTS drops the panel changes and goes back to the inputs. It asks first, and UNDO brings the changes back. An input you change later with F7 is used at the next start, and every other saved setting is kept. Every change is written to the Experts log. The panel size, the month's broker cost, the Ask EVA conversations and the AI notes are kept for each account and symbol. The magic number and the trade comment change only in the inputs.
The main inputs, as the inputs window names them:
| Input | Default |

13. Common questions
Trying EVA before you buy. The demo on the Market page runs in the Strategy Tester. Choose EVA Gold Trade Manager and a symbol (XAUUSD M5 suits it), tick Visual mode and press Start. On the visual chart the panel is interactive: BUY and SELL, BREAKEVEN, the closes, MENU and every screen respond while the test runs, and the guard, COST and the Journal follow the trades you open. Set a daily loss limit of 0.5% in the inputs and you can watch the guard lock the panel and say why. In the tester EVA always uses the inputs; SAVE and LOAD work on a live chart.
Trying the AI and Telegram. Ask EVA, the AI notes, Telegram and the news calendar need the internet, which the tester does not have. The 1-month rental, at 30 USD, is the way to try them on your own account.
Price. The launch price is 59 USD. It goes up by 10 USD every 10 copies sold, until it reaches 99 USD.
The panel does not send orders. Turn on Algo Trading in the toolbar, and check Allow Algo Trading on the Common tab of EVA's inputs. The pill says ALGO TRADING OFF until both are on.
BUY answers "blocked: daily loss limit reached". The guard locked the panel. RISK CENTER shows which limit and how far the account went. The lock ends at the next day, or when you raise or switch off that limit.
The lot is written in red. The broker's minimum lot risks more than the percentage you chose, or the volume limit or the free margin cut the lot. The red text gives the real numbers.
A trade opened from the phone was closed at once. A loss limit was holding, and with A LIMIT CLOSES THE TRADES on, any trade in scope opened during the lock is closed. Switch it off in SETTINGS if you want a limit to lock the panel without closing.
Another expert's trades were left alone. That is the default scope, MANUAL. Choose ALL to manage every trade on the symbol, or switch on Account guard to close the whole account at a loss limit.
EVA on several symbols. Attach one EVA to one chart per symbol. Each manages its own symbol and keeps its own settings file, while the limits always measure the whole account. Two EVAs on the same symbol would manage the same trades twice, so keep one.
Removing EVA from the chart. Your trades and pending orders stay as they are, with their stops and targets. Automatic breakeven, trailing and the guard pause until EVA is back, and the saved settings and the panel lock return with it.
CLOSE HALF says it cannot split. Half of the trade would be under the minimum lot: the lot has to be at least twice the minimum.
Ask EVA says the provider is busy. Free tiers allow a limited number of requests per minute and per day. Add a backup key, or ask again a minute later.
Support. Write in the comments of the product page or send a private message here on MQL5. Updates are included.
