MQL Market offers a huge selection of trading systems.
All of them often show BAD Test Results, or completely hide the test results for MT4.
Many of the systems use DEMO accounts and try to convince users that these are real trading results.
Are they really so real?
Testing in MT4 is a rather painful problem for many trading systems.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day;

So, to test the system, we need a free (14 days) and simple Tick Data Suite program. Just follow the link.
Using simple examples, I will demonstrate how you can independently test any trading system with real slippage, with real spreads and real quotes.
Enter your name and EMAIL
A FREE Key will be sent to your EMAIL
THEN we will install the program on your PC. This should be your real physical computer, NOT a VPS.
During installation, we will indicate the FREE key that we received by EMAIL.
Download historical data for EURUSD for the last year
To do this, click on the button
Specify Start Date and End Date
Then the download of historical data for the selected period will begin.

So, we have just downloaded historical quotes for EURUSD for the last year. Congratulations !
Now we will be able to test any trading system for EURUSD with any slippage and real spreads / gaps, etc.
Launch MT4 and Strategy Tester
The easiest way for testing is to use any RAW / ECN broker
Let's open the Settings for Our quotes and add slippages and spreads
Click USE Tick DATA
I also recommend specifying DST = None, since different brokers switch to summer and winter time differently
I usually specify the minimum spread = 0.I trade with Tickmill and so usually the spread for EUR USD is ZERO!
We indicate the Time Delay for our VPS, usually it is from 5ms to 50ms (ping for my VPS is less than 2ms)
Next, we will indicate the Broker's Commission and the leverage of our broker
For my broker Tickmill, the commission for EURUSD is 4 $ per lot and leverage is 1: 500
To save our settings, just click OK
