Apex Gold AII is an evolutionary version of an automated trading robot for the MetaTrader 5 platform, designed for the highly volatile gold market. Unlike the basic version, AII (Artificial Intelligence Integration) emphasizes adaptability: the algorithm not only searches for price action patterns but also uses machine learning elements to assess the current market phase (trending, flat, high volatility), dynamically adjusting entry logic.
Updated and enhanced input parameters (for M5–H1):
- RiskStopFactor (1.8 – 3.5): A coefficient that determines the stop-loss (SL) distance relative to the current volatility (ATR). - VolatilityThreshold (15–45): Volatility threshold (in spread points or ATR). This parameter prevents market entry during extreme price movements (for example, during NFP news releases), protecting capital from slippage. The optimal value for ECN accounts is 25–30.
- SpreadLimit (200 – 500): The maximum allowable spread. A trade is blocked if the broker's current commission exceeds this limit, eliminating entries with negative expected value.
- PatternConfirmationBars (3–7): The number of candles confirming the chart pattern. Increasing the value to 5–7 makes entries more conservative, filtering out false breakouts typical for gold on lower timeframes.
- Compounding (On/Off): Automatically recalculates the trading lot based on equity growth. When enabled, the lot increases proportionally to the balance, accelerating capital growth without compromising risk management.
- AI-Trailing Lock (1.2 / 1.8): Intelligent trailing stop. When activated, the EA doesn't simply trail the stop loss with the price, but analyzes trend slowdowns. If the AI detects divergence or momentum exhaustion, the stop loss is moved to breakeven (BE) or partial profit is taken.
