HOW IT WORKS
Grid / averaging system with an exponential lot progression. New orders are added every PipStep pips with the lot size multiplied by LotExponent, and the basket closes at the take profit. An optional trailing stop is included.
RECOMMENDED SETTINGS
- Symbol: EURUSD (one pair)
- Timeframe: M5 (set files also provided for M15, M30 and H4)
- Recommended balance: 10,000 USD or 10,000 cents per pair for the default setting; lower-risk set files are provided for Standard and Cent accounts
- A VPS is recommended for uninterrupted operation
- Use a broker with low spreads and fast execution
- This EA requires a HEDGING account type
MAIN INPUTS
- Lots: Starting lot size
- TakeProfit: Take profit in pips
- LotExponent: Lot multiplier for every additional order
- PipStep: Distance in pips between orders
- MaxLots: Upper limit for a single order
- UseTrailingStop / TrailStart / TrailStop: Optional trailing stop
- UseMaxDrawdown / MaxDrawdownPercent: Closes everything at the chosen drawdown
- UseSpreadFilter / MaxSpread: Skips new trades when the spread is too high
INCLUDED SAFETY CHECKS
- Lot size normalised to the broker's minimum, maximum and step
- Free margin is checked before every order
- Stop levels and freeze levels of the broker are respected
IMPORTANT RISK WARNING
This EA uses grid / martingale averaging. Lot sizes grow while a basket is open and drawdown can become large. Losses can exceed what you expect and can wipe out the account.
