Hedge Master Scalper is an automated M5 trading system built around a structured BUY/SELL hedge approach, basket averaging, swing-based protection, and flexible trade management.
The EA is designed to manage BUY and SELL positions independently, with separate rules for single trades and multi-trade baskets.

⚡ Automatic M5 Hedge Entries
At the opening of each new 5-minute candle, the EA can open a BUY and SELL position using the configured base lot size.
Both sides are managed independently, allowing the EA to continuously work with the market's short-term movement.
🎯 Separate Single & Basket Exit Logic
The EA uses two completely separated closing mechanisms:
Single Trade

If a side contains exactly one position, the EA checks the position at the next M5 candle opening.

The position is closed only when it is profitable.
Basket Trade

When a side contains two or more positions, individual positions are not closed.

The EA calculates the volume-weighted average entry price.

The complete basket is closed when the configured profit-point threshold is reached.
This separation prevents the single-trade and basket rules from interfering with each other.
🛡 Same-Range Protection
The optional Same-Range Skip filter prevents the EA from repeatedly opening positions too close to an existing position on the same side.
You can configure the minimum distance required between same-side trades.
This can help reduce unnecessary clustering of positions during periods of limited price movement.
📊 Breakout Filter
The optional breakout filter compares the recently closed M5 candle with the previous candle.
Depending on the candle structure:

New high → SELL can be skipped

New low → BUY can be skipped

No breakout → both sides can be allowed

Both high and low broken → both sides can be allowed
This gives the entry engine a simple market-direction filter while maintaining the hedge structure.

The EA continuously identifies recent swing high and swing low levels.

Red line → Swing High

Green line → Swing Low
These levels are also used by the Pro protection system for pending BUY STOP and SELL STOP orders.
🚀 Buy Pro & Sell Pro Protection System
One of the major features of Hedge Master Scalper is its swing-based Pro Protection system.
While hedge positions are active, the EA can maintain:

BUY STOP near the swing-high level

SELL STOP near the swing-low level
The Pro position volume can be calculated from the opposite-side exposure using the configured multiplier.
After a Pro position is triggered, the EA manages it independently and can:

Monitor new favorable swing levels

Close a profitable Pro position when the appropriate new swing develops

Re-arm the protection on the following candle

Activate trailing protection after the configured profit distance

Prevent the Pro position from being closed at a loss by the trailing mechanism
Only one Pro position per direction can be active at a time.
💰 Margin Safety & Auto-Fit Lot
Before opening an order, the EA checks available margin using OrderCalcMargin().
If the requested volume cannot be supported and Auto-Fit Lot is enabled, the EA attempts to calculate the largest affordable volume within the symbol's trading constraints.
🔄 Hedging & Netting Account Adaptation
The EA detects the account trading mode automatically.
On compatible hedging accounts, BUY and SELL positions can be maintained independently.
On retail netting accounts, where BUY and SELL positions are merged into a single net position, the EA adapts its trading behavior and works with one directional position at a time.
🧪 Built-in Paper Trading System
Hedge Master Scalper also includes an integrated Paper Trading engine.
The Paper system can operate in two modes:
Shadow Mode

Reads the real account's positions and today's deals.

Displays corresponding statistics without placing additional real orders.
Simulator Mode
