Universal V2 — All-in-USD Edition

A multi-strategy Expert Advisor that manages risk in USD instead of points or pips, making it fully portable across brokers with different point values, digits, and tick sizes.
Unlike most EAs that require re-tuning when you change brokers, Universal V2 calculates Take Profit, Trailing Stop, and minimum martingale distance in absolute USD. The same settings work on any broker.

CORE CONCEPT — WHY USD-BASED?
------------------------------------------
Most EAs use points or pips for SL/TP. When you switch brokers, point values change (especially on GOLD, indices, and crypto), and your carefully tuned settings break.
Universal V2 solves this by working in USD:
- Set "Take Profit = $10" → the EA calculates the exact price distance for your broker.
- Set "Trailing Step = $0.5" → works identically on any broker.
- Set "Min Martingale Distance = $0.5" → consistent averaging distance regardless of symbol.
One setting, every broker.

SIGNAL ENGINE
------------------------------------------
Entry signals are generated from a triple-confirmation system on M5:
BUY : Price below Lower Bollinger Band + Stochastic < 30 + RSI < 30
SELL : Price above Upper Bollinger Band + Stochastic > 70 + RSI > 70
This is a mean-reversion logic designed to catch exhaustion moves.
Optional confirmation filters (all toggleable):
- Two-candle confirmation
- ADX filter (trend strength)
- MA200 filter (M5 trend)
- H1 MA200 confirmation (higher timeframe trend)
- Spread filter (in USD)
- Time filter (trading hours)
- Candle-end filter (skip entries in the last N minutes of the hour)

TRADE MANAGEMENT

- New Cycle logic: opens the first position when the basket is empty.
- Martingale averaging: adds positions when the last one is in loss, up to MaxTrades, with configurable LotExponent.
- Basket Take Profit: closes all positions when total profit reaches the USD target.
- Basket Trailing Stop: activates after the USD profit threshold is reached, then trails the highest (BUY) / lowest (SELL) price with a USD step.
- Automatic break-even: the trailing SL never moves below the basket average price (for BUY) or above it (for SELL).
- Cooldown timer: prevents immediate re-entry after a basket closes.
- Pause timer: prevents rapid-fire order placement.

BROKER SAFETY LAYER

The EA auto-adapts to any broker's rules:
- Detects symbol category (GOLD, SILVER, JPY, OIL, CRYPTO, FOREX).
- Reads StopLevel and FreezeLevel from the broker.
- Adds a configurable USD buffer on top of the broker's minimum distance.
- Validates and adjusts every SL/TP before sending.
- Retries automatically on Error 130 (invalid stops).
- Restores missing SL after broker restarts or terminal disconnections.

CRASH RECOVERY

The EA stores its last known SL and TP levels. If your terminal restarts, the VPS disconnects, or the broker resets stops, Universal V2 automatically restores them on the next tick.
No more naked positions after a restart.

- Total profit in USD
- Total lot exposure
- Trailing SL / TP levels

- Debug: enable verbose logging
- InfoChart: show the info panel
- Slippage: max slippage in points
- MagicNumber: 0 = trade all positions on the symbol
Trading:
- NewCycle_ON: enable first-entry logic
- TradeBuy / TradeSell: enable each direction
- TypeWork: true = tick-by-tick, false = new bar only
- Risk: used in lot sizing (FREE_MARGIN × DefaultLot / Risk)
- DefaultLot: starting lot multiplier
- MaxLot: hard cap on lot size
- MaxTrades: maximum positions per basket
- LotExponent: martingale multiplier (e.g. 1.8)
USD Risk Management:
- TakeProfitUSD: basket TP target in USD
- TrailingActivateUSD: profit threshold to start trailing
- TrailingStepUSD: trailing step in USD
- UseMinDistance: enable minimum averaging distance
- MinDistanceMartingaleUSD: minimum distance from last position, in USD
- UseBrokerSafety: respect broker StopLevel / FreezeLevel
- BrokerBufferUSD: extra safety buffer in USD

- Minimum deposit: $500 – $1,000 (due to martingale risk)
- VPS: strongly recommended
- Broker: any MT5 broker with low spread on GOLD
