HOW SSFX GOLDQUANT TRADES

GoldQuant includes three selectable entry strategies:

  • Trend Following: Uses RSI momentum confirmation together with breakouts of recent highs and lows.
  • Fair Value Gap: Detects bullish and bearish imbalances, waits for a retest, and supports candle-close, engulfing, or pin-bar confirmation.
  • Liquidity Sweep: Identifies swing highs and lows, then trades potential liquidity grabs followed by a reversal close.

I have been running SSFX GoldQuant v1.4 live on my Exness hedging account trading XAUUSD and it has been performing consistently well. The three entry strategies — Trend Following, FVG, and Liquidity Sweep — work together to find quality setups. The basket Take Profit using the weighted average entry price closes trades efficiently and fast. The Quick Close Engine makes a noticeable difference in execution speed compared to standard closing methods. The on-chart dashboard is well designed. The manual BUY, SELL, and CLOSE buttons work reliably and the lot stepper makes position sizing easy without touching the inputs. I particularly appreciate that the overlap reduction logic is smart — it pairs the oldest losing position with the newest profitable one and closes both together when the profit covers the loss, which progressively reduces basket exposure without cutting trades randomly. The parameter guide on this page is very clear and covers everything needed to set up the EA correctly for different brokers. The points-based parameters work correctly for both 2-digit brokers like XM GOLD and 3-digit brokers like Exness XAUUSDm once you understand the scaling. Overall profit factor has been above 2.0 in live conditions with conservative settings. This is one of the best free EAs available for gold trading on MT5. I have been running SSFX GoldQuant v1.4 live on my Exness hedging account trading XAUUSD and it has been performing consistently well. The three entry strategies — Trend Following, FVG, and Liquidity Sweep — work together to find quality setups. The basket Take Profit using the weighted average entry price closes trades efficiently and fast. The Quick Close Engine makes a noticeable difference in execution speed compared to standard closing methods. The on-chart dashboard is well designed. The manual BUY, SELL, and CLOSE buttons work reliably and the lot stepper makes position sizing easy without touching the inputs. I particularly appreciate that the overlap reduction logic is smart — it pairs the oldest losing position with the newest profitable one and closes both together when the profit covers the loss, which progressively reduces basket exposure without cutting trades randomly. The parameter guide on this page is very clear and covers everything needed to set up the EA correctly for different brokers. The points-based parameters work correctly for both 2-digit brokers like XM GOLD and 3-digit brokers like Exness XAUUSDm once you understand the scaling. Overall profit factor has been above 2.0 in live conditions with conservative settings. This is one of the best free EAs available for gold trading on MT5. Well done to the developer and thank you for the continued support.
