▍READ THIS FIRST — TWO THINGS THAT MATTER

The default parameters are a neutral starting point. They are not a
recommendation and they are not what this engine was tuned for.
Backtesting on defaults will show you almost nothing. Load the supplied
preset first, every single time.
*** 2. ON GOLD, SET TRADING MODE TO BUY ONLY ***
The parameter ships as BOTH DIRECTIONS. On gold that is not what you
want. Gold has a structural upward bias measured in decades; the sell
side fights that bias and doubles your margin load at the same time.
Set Trading Mode to BUY ONLY before you run it. This is the single
most important setting in the file.

▍WHY THIS IS NOT ANOTHER GRID EA
Almost every grid system alive shares one habit that eventually kills
it. It opens, it averages down, and then it WAITS. Frozen. Hostage to
a full recovery that the market is under no obligation to deliver.
This one does not wait.
It takes profit OUT OF a deep basket while that basket is still open,
closing part of the structure and letting the remainder breathe. Six
levels deep is not a prison here. It is a working position that is
still paying you.
That idea sounds simple written down. Getting it to survive real
conditions took six years, four rewrites, and a long list of expensive
lessons that are now permanent guards inside the code.

▍BUILT ON SIX YEARS OF GOLD — INCLUDING THE UGLY PARTS
This engine was not designed in a spreadsheet. Every protective layer
inside it exists because something went wrong once and had to be
fixed properly.
It was developed and hardened across gold's violent stretches — the
vertical rallies, the two-day reversals, the news candles that erase
a week, and the sharp corrections of the recent period that removed a
great many grid systems from the market permanently.
That is what the filters are for. Not decoration. Scar tissue.
Test it yourself on the worst month you can find. That is the only
review that should matter to you.

▍THE COMPOUNDING ENGINE — THIS IS THE PART PEOPLE MISS
Most robots trade a fixed lot forever. Your account grows, your
position size does not, and your percentage return quietly shrinks
every month you succeed.
This engine scales with you.
Set it to 10%, and every time realised balance grows 10%, the lot
rises 10% AND the target rises 10% — together, in the same step. The
distance price must travel to exit stays identical. The risk-to-reward
ratio stays identical. Only the size of the machine changes.
That is genuine compounding applied to position sizing, and it is the
difference between an account that grows in a straight line and one
that grows on a curve.
It fits CENT ACCOUNTS with unusual precision. On a cent account the
broker's lot step is small relative to your position, so a 10% rise is
an honest 10% rise — not a forced 100% jump. The engine refuses to
start at all if your lot cannot express the step you asked for. It
will not silently double your risk to make a number work.
And it protects the ladder in both directions:
• A drawdown past your threshold resets lot and target to base.
Large size never keeps running on a shrunken account.
• Deposit money and nothing moves — capital added for defence
should not silently multiply your exposure.
• Withdraw, and the ladder scales down to match.
• The drawdown guard stays anchored to the balance the network was
born with, so a withdrawal can never liquidate a position that
has not moved.
• An open basket is never re-priced mid-life. A grid lives and
dies on the target it was born with.

▍THIRTEEN GATES BEFORE A SINGLE TRADE OPENS
Any robot can buy a dip. The hard part — the part that separates a
system that survives from one that does not — is refusing to buy a
waterfall.
Price passes through thirteen independent checks before the first
position is allowed:
• ADAPTIVE THRESHOLD — the required drop expands up to five times
on a violent day and stays tight on a quiet one. Same setting,
two completely different behaviours.
• FOUR-LAYER VELOCITY FILTER — including an acceleration detector
that compares the second half of a time window against the first.
A real collapse accelerates. A normal correction does not. This
engine can tell them apart before any moving average has noticed
anything is happening.
• CRASH FILTER — engages only when price sits far under its own
hourly average. Not a correction. An actual structural break.
• SESSION MEMORY — after a run of strong bullish days the entry
threshold doubles. No buying into a weekly top.
• CANDLE, SPREAD, SESSION, NEWS AND USD-STRENGTH GATES — including
a filter that measures the DOLLAR rather than gold, because half
of gold's falls are dollar strength, not gold weakness. Measuring
the cause arrives earlier than measuring the effect.
Two entry engines feed those gates. One hunts below the daily open.
The other buys the correction of a confirmed impulse wave above it.
They occupy separate price zones and never compete.

▍PROFIT PROTECTION THAT UNDERSTANDS POSITION SIZE
There is no fixed take-profit. The trailing engine wakes at a fraction
of target, rides the move, and the protected floor ONLY EVER RISES.
Give-back follows a smooth exponential curve — it releases 39% of the
peak at one times target, 30% at two times, 23% at three. No cliff
edges, no sudden tightening, no arbitrary jumps.
And it breathes in ATR rather than in money. Here is why that matters:
six dollars of give-back is three dollars of price on a small basket
but thirty cents on a large one. Without that correction, the exact
same setting strangles a deep grid ten times harder than a shallow
one. Almost nobody handles this. It is the reason deep baskets here
are not choked out of a recovery they were about to complete.
The stop is then placed behind a REAL STRUCTURAL LEVEL — an actual
swing point in the market, not an arithmetic number.

▍IT REMEMBERS EVERYTHING
Restart the terminal. Move to a new VPS. Reinstall MetaTrader.
The engine recovers grid depth, banked profit, trailing state and
cooldown from FOUR INDEPENDENT SOURCES, including a replay of your
broker's own history. A momentary gap between a partial close and the
next entry resets nothing. Memory clears only after genuine, sustained
flatness.
You can walk away from the machine. It knows where it was.

These are minimums, not recommendations. More capital means a shallower
grid relative to your balance, and that is the single largest factor
in how this system performs for you.
Read the CAPACITY line the engine prints on every start. It tells you
exactly how deep the grid can go and what floating loss sits at that
depth. If your balance is not comfortably above that number, reduce
the base lot immediately. That one line is worth more than any
backtest you will ever run.
