PAC Trend Rider EA is a trend-following Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4 based on the Price Action Channel (PAC) . The EA identifies breakouts and pullbacks around the PAC channel and combines these signals with professional trend, volatility, and risk filters.
The Expert Advisor is particularly suitable for traders who want to trade clear trend movements and value automatic risk management, flexible filters and a clear chart display.
How does the PAC Trend Rider EA work?
The Expert Advisor (EA) calculates a Price Action Channel using moving averages of high and low prices. As soon as the market breaks out of the channel in the direction of the trend, or resumes its trend direction after a pullback, the EA can automatically open a position.
There are two entry options available:
Breakout Entry
The EA trades the breakout from the PAC channel when the closing price is above the upper channel or below the lower channel.
Pullback Entry
The EA waits for a pullback to the PAC area and then trades the continuation of the movement.
Optionally, the EA can use Heikin-Ashi prices to reduce market noise and identify clearer trend movements.

Risk Management
The PAC Trend Rider EA includes several safeguards to make trading more controllable. These include automatic lot calculation based on account risk, a daily loss limit, a limit on the maximum number of trades per day, and an optional equity stop.
The stop loss is calculated based on the current ATR volatility. The take profit can be defined using a freely adjustable risk-reward ratio.
Additionally, the EA can automatically pull positions to break even, realize partial profits, and secure profits with an ATR trailing stop.
