Overview
Gold Piece XAU is an algorithmic Expert Advisor (EA) designed exclusively for trading the XAU/USD pair (spot gold) on the M15 timeframe. It combines market structure analysis with three technical confirmation filters—RSI, double EMA, and CCI—along with a Liquidity Sweep and Fair Value Gap (FVG) detection system, achieving a professional approach focused on trend-following trades with high-probability entries.
Trading Strategy and Logic
The EA identifies entry signals through five price action patterns: engulfing candles, inside bars, pin bars, breakouts, and liquidity sweeps with FVG. Each signal must pass through all three filters before being executed:
RSI (14 periods): Blocks buys in overbought conditions (>70) and sells in oversold conditions (<30), ensuring favorable momentum.

The Liquidity Sweeps system detects candles with steep wicks that sweep through previous liquidity levels and reverse, identifying areas where large participants have executed orders. Fair Value Gaps complement this by highlighting price imbalances that act as pullback magnets.

Lot size is managed as a fixed percentage of the balance, allowing it to scale naturally as the account grows:

The Expert Advisor (EA) automatically calculates the position size, risking 1% of the balance per trade, with the stop loss defined by the market structure. This ensures that when capital doubles, the lot size doubles naturally and in a controlled manner, without manual intervention.
Risk Management
The system has multiple layers of protection:
Dynamic Stop Loss based on the signal structure, with a built-in minimum safety margin.
Take Profit with a minimum risk/reward ratio of 1:1.2, the standard being 1:3 (SL 20 pips / TP 60 pips).
Trailing Stop activated at 8 pips of profit, with a 4-pip step, to protect profits on extended moves.
Automatic Break Even upon reaching 10 pips of profit, moving the stop to the entry price plus 2 pips.
Daily loss limit of 10% of the balance: the EA stops trading if this threshold is reached during the day.
Maximum of 5 simultaneous open positions and maximum total volume of 5 lots. Free margin control: No trades are opened if the free margin falls below 50%. Maximum spread filter of 50 pips to prevent executions in adverse market conditions. Aggressive Turbo Mode
The EA includes an activatable Turbo Mode that extends the signal lookback to 5 candles, multiplies the calculated lot size by 1.5x, and reduces the minimum confidence threshold for entries. This mode is designed for markets with high volatility and defined momentum, such as the London and New York sessions for XAU/USD.
