No EA can be profitable all the time. The key here is the EA's ability to compensate for every pullback. Yes, the backtests for XAUUSD (GOLD) are excellent, but XAUUSD (GOLD) is more volatile than other instruments, and when used in a live account, the amount of slippage it experiences during trade entry and exit is significant. An average slippage of 20-30 pips per trade will maintain the EA's profitability. However, if a higher average slippage per trade occurs, the EA may not be profitable for XAUUSD (GOLD). We'll now have the opportunity to test this in our live signal. As I mentioned, if the average slippage per trade is too high, we can suspend the XAUUSD (GOLD) strategy.
