It employs a risk-managed approach with simple trailing stop logic with values in account currency, % loss (with sleep period) and daily profit limits (stops for the rest of the day), and a learning mechanism with persistence to optimize the Take Profit (TP) multiplier based on trade performance.
As the Agnostic uses two separate signal generation depenging of the trend, user can select initial bullish or bearish setup depending of the market condition. Agnostic aims counter-trend trades on RSI overbought/oversold conditions. It can use opposite signal closures for increased risk management.
The Agnostic's three threshold trailing stop logic gives trades enough space and first objective is to secure a breakeven.
User can set the desired in-profit threshold levels in account currency. The learning process considers trades that hit the thresholds but not the original take profit as losing trades so that the EA can adjust the initial TP multiplier correctly downwards if the TP's are not hit.
Backtesting settings are for EURUSD on H1 and you can expect it to trade approx 1-2 times a week on average. NOTE: On EURUSD, you must change the RSI values to 70/34. The optimized values had to be changed to be able to pass validation.
The screenshots have the EA optimized tor 9/24-5/25. Backtesting results may vary from actual performance in live trading.
Periodical optimizing of indicator values is highly recommended. The initial optimizing time range was selected because it contains longer period bearish and bullish trends.
The author does not take any responsibility regarding losses nor make any promises regarding the profits. Trading with is high risk activity and despite the EA's risk management, it is still subject to potential losses.
