How to download past events / news for bactesting.
1. Load the EA to any live chart. Set the Download Past News Events to true. Modify the start and end past news events according to your timeline to test.
2. After that, you will see this log on the Experts tab showing it is completed.
3. Verify that the news events file is saved in this directory. 4. That is all. Now to backtest, just open the Strategy Tester in your MT5, load the recommended set file and backtest. It is best to use "Every Tick Based On Real Tick" in the Strategy Tester setting.
