I am trying to use CAP to remove and restore external EA. BUt after setting all the para, EA status is "STOP By Input".
What is the possible mistake I made?

i used it, it works, but it my EA is a grod with 2 to 5 orders , seems to be that since your EA is there my EA opens only 1 trade and no grid more

I actually love to use it to stop profit loss(I dont want trailing stop loss) in the middle of live trade and you warn us not to use while orders are open. Will it affect anything if I use it?
Example; if my equity is $1000 and I have opened 5 different trades and my trade is now in profit of $80.
If am willing to stop profit loss at $40, can I start this EA when my equity gets to $1080 and put 40 in the loss value?

I am having the same problem, I have set " disable external others EA # 1 " to yes but can not find out to get the "chart ID" of the chart my own EA is working on for the next field (I have tried the pair name and also my EAs magic number but those do not work). As it stands this utility closes all trades fine when the limit is hit but I can find no way to get it to close my EA down and stop it re-opening trades.

I have a problem with CAP Equity Guard. Sometimes it doesnt close when target is hit and when pressing the close button it takes some time until the confirmation window opens and afterwards by pressing yes its pretty slow reacting so that. Losing all trades sometimes ends up in loss...
So maybe it would better to speed up code and disable the confirmation window.
But ist a great ea besides those sometime issues.
I've been using the CAP Equity guard and have been having a problem where it's disconnecting from being active. I will set it and at the top it says EA Running in green, but after I leave for a while, when I get back it no longer says that and I've found that the equity protection isn't working. I've lost faith in it's ability if it's going to shut off randomly on me. How do I resolve this issue?

it's a fantastic EA but the problem is that I can't get the settings with the vps
The EA does not stop my bot after it reaches equity it continues to buy and sell
note j use a grid EA

At times it freezes and don't display the Equity contently. I noticed just one time that it did not close all trades even though target equity reached.
Few times, When I restart the terminal, It will not take the value from Global Variable, even though it exists and have value. This happened on a demo account when i was testing.
Can you please look into it.

I had a similar problem, I did some research. I noticed that MetaTrader is a 32bit application. When we use it on a PC / VPS which is 64bit it will not function properly at times. This problem is not just for this EA, it is a general limitation with MetaTrader (32Bit). Solution is put all the terminals Affinity to first processor CPU0. Then it worked fine. You can try.
