Bitcoin Angel
Bitcoin Angel is an automated trading Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It uses Bitcoin price-level breakouts with additional trend direction and strength filters.

Trading Principle
The Expert Advisor is designed for Bitcoin trading instruments whose names contain BTC or XBT. It identifies local price levels and opens a position after a confirmed breakout.
Three exponential moving averages and the ADX indicator are used to filter trading signals. These filters help evaluate the direction and strength of the current market movement.
- The buy breakout level is calculated from previous highs.
- The sell breakout level is calculated from previous lows.
- An entry is executed only when the calculated level is crossed.
- Before opening a position, the EA checks the trend direction, ADX, spread, trading time and available margin.
- Repeated entry at the same level can be disabled.
- The number of simultaneously open positions is limited by the settings.
The default configuration uses buy-only trading. The inputs allow buy-only, sell-only or two-way trading.
Position Management
Each new position is opened with a protective Stop Loss. After the price moves by the configured distance, the trailing Stop Loss is activated and follows the position in the favorable direction.
The current version does not use a fixed Take Profit. A position is closed by its initial or trailing Stop Loss.
Volume Management
The Expert Advisor supports two trading-volume modes:
- fixed lot size;
- automatic lot calculation based on a selected percentage of current account equity.
In automatic mode, the volume is calculated using the Stop Loss distance, tick value and specification of the selected symbol. If the broker's minimum lot would create excessive calculated risk, the EA can skip the entry.

Getting Started
- Attach the Expert Advisor to a Bitcoin chart in MetaTrader 5.
- Enable algorithmic trading.
- Select the required trading direction.
- Set a fixed lot size or risk percentage.
- Check the maximum-spread limit and trading hours.
- Run a test using your broker's historical data and symbol specification.
- Evaluate the EA on a demo account before using it on a live account.
The timeframe of the chart to which the EA is attached does not determine its trading logic. The required analysis periods are defined by the internal parameters.
Important Information
The symbol name, contract size, point value, minimum volume, commission, spread and Bitcoin trading sessions may differ between brokers. Therefore, the same settings can produce different results when used with different price histories or trading conditions.
The default settings are intended for Bitcoin. Before using the EA on a live account, perform your own testing and select an acceptable risk level.
Historical results do not guarantee similar results in the future. Bitcoin trading involves high volatility and a risk of financial loss.
