Crypto Clockwork is a complete, self-contained trading system for Ethereum. It works like a clock: eight independent engines, each one acting at its own time of day, each one with its own way of choosing buy or sell, its own holding time and its own magic number. You switch them on and off one by one, and the panel shows what every engine is doing.
It does not average into losses and it does not run a grid. Every engine opens at most one position at a time, every position carries a protective stop from the first moment, and every position is closed on a schedule, so the account is never left waiting on a trade that has gone quiet.
You choose how big the trades are with five risk levels: Min, Low, Medium, High and Xtreme. From Low upward the lot is sized from your equity, so every level means the same thing on a small account and on a large one, and the lot grows as your account grows.
Tested on Ethereum. The results below come from a 2024 to 2026 Ethereum window. Three engines start switched on, and five more wait for you to add them.
MAIN ADVANTAGES
- Eight engines, each with its own switch. Three start ON, five start OFF. Add engines one at a time and see exactly what each one does, because each engine has its own magic number and shows its name in the trade comment.
- Five risk levels, each tested on its own. Min trades your broker's minimum lot, the starting point for learning. Low, Medium, High and Xtreme size the lot from your equity, from about 6 percent to about 30 percent drawdown in the test window.
- A steady rhythm. About one and a half trades a day with the three default engines: roughly 1,250 trades in the test window, and more with every engine you add.
- Clean on-chart panel. Status, risk level, lot, engines on, equity check and the state of all eight engines, in a compact card that sits beside the candles and never covers price or your trade lines. It follows a light or a dark chart by itself.
- Built-in brakes. A daily loss limit, an equity drawdown brake, an equity guard and a margin-level guard, so the EA waits instead of forcing a trade.
- Careful execution. Before every order the EA checks market hours, permissions, connection, quote freshness, spread, volume rules, stop distance and margin, retries recoverable rejections a limited number of times and repeats timed closes until they go through.
- One clock for every broker. Engine times follow a fixed reference clock and the EA converts your server time to it, so the same engine acts at the same real moment on any broker.
- Restart-safe. After a restart, open positions keep their timed exit and the brakes remember their state. Deposits and withdrawals are not counted as gains or losses.
- No martingale, no grid, no averaging down.
TEST RESULTS
Strategy Tester, ETHUSD, H1, 1 minute OHLC model, hedging account, broker spread and swap included. Window: 2024.04.11 to 2026.07.22, 1,000 USD start, 1:500 leverage, the three default engines, about 1,250 trades.
- Min (broker minimum lot, 0.10 in the test): profit factor 1.50, net profit +421 USD, maximum equity drawdown 2.2 %.
- Low (0.25 lot per 1,000 USD of equity): profit factor 1.46, net profit +1,367 USD, maximum equity drawdown 6.0 %.
- Medium (0.50 lot per 1,000 USD of equity): profit factor 1.41, net profit +5,770 USD, maximum equity drawdown 11.9 %.
- High (1.00 lot per 1,000 USD of equity): profit factor 1.46, net profit +15,797 USD, maximum equity drawdown 21.4 %.
- Xtreme (1.40 lot per 1,000 USD of equity): profit factor 1.47, net profit +18,298 USD, maximum equity drawdown 29.2 %.
With all eight engines switched on, Medium reached +41,199 USD with a 17.9 percent drawdown in the same window (3,711 trades). More engines mean more activity, so step down a risk level as you add them. Xtreme from a 300 USD start reached +13,400 USD, and from 5,000 USD reached +21,067 USD, in the same window.
The maximum drawdown is the relative drawdown of the account equity. These are Strategy Tester results for the window shown. Take your time to learn how it behaves, test it on a demo account first, and enjoy exploring it.
THE EIGHT ENGINES
- Midnight Pulse (ON by default): a buy at the turn of the trading day.
- Dusk Reversal (ON by default): an evening sell under the medium-term trend, with its own stop and target.
- Night Drift (ON by default): an overnight sell under the long-term trend.
- Late Fade (OFF by default): a late-evening sell under the long-term trend, with its own stop and target.
- Dawn Snapback (OFF by default): an early-morning trade against the previous move.
- Evening Surge (OFF by default): an evening trade in the direction of the previous move, with its own stop and target.
- Afternoon Fade (OFF by default): an afternoon sell with a wider stop.
- Closing Rally (OFF by default): a late-afternoon buy above the long-term trend, with its own stop and target.
BUILT-IN BRAKES
- Daily loss limit: if equity falls 10 percent below the day's starting balance, new entries stop until the next day. Open trades keep their timed exit and their stop.
- Drawdown brake: if equity falls 35 percent below its highest point, new entries pause until equity recovers to within 30 percent, or for up to seven days.
- Equity guard: if the selected level is much smaller than your broker's minimum lot, the EA waits and the panel shows how much equity the level needs.
- Margin level: no new entries while the account margin level is below 150 percent.
The panel shows DAILY LIMIT, DRAWDOWN BRAKE or EQUITY TOO LOW while a brake or guard is active.
RECOMMENDED SETUP
- Symbol: Ethereum, ETHUSD (some brokers call it ETHEREUM).
- Timeframe: any chart works, the EA always reads H1 internally.
- Account type: works on hedging and netting accounts. A hedging account is recommended: several engines can be open at the same time, and on netting accounts same-direction orders merge into one position, so results can differ noticeably from the tests.
- Start on a demo account with Min. Move up one level at a time when you are comfortable.
- Equity figures are calibrated for accounts in USD.
- A VPS is recommended for continuous operation.
INPUTS
- Risk level: Min, Low, Medium, High or Xtreme.
- Enable trading: turn it off to stop opening new positions.
- Magic base: the engines use the base plus 1 to the base plus 8.
- Engine switches: one per engine, ON or OFF.
FREQUENT QUESTIONS
What is Min? Min always trades the smallest lot your broker allows, 0.10 at some brokers and 0.01 at others. It is the default and the best way to start.
What does the panel say if my account is too small for a level? EQUITY TOO LOW, with the equity the level needs. The EA waits instead of trading more than you asked for. Use Min or a lower level, or add equity.
Which engines should I switch on? Start with the three that are ON. Add one at a time, watch the panel for a few days and step down a risk level as you add engines.
Can I use it on a netting account? It runs, but a hedging account is recommended, because on a netting account same-direction orders merge into one position and results can differ noticeably from the tests.
Is there a live signal? Not yet. The figures shown are Strategy Tester results.
Why does my backtest differ from the numbers above? Use ETHUSD, H1, the 1 minute OHLC model, the same date ranges, a 1,000 USD deposit and a hedging account on a broker whose server follows GMT+2 or GMT+3. A different broker's price history, spread and swap can change results.
