Royal GBP EA — MetaTrader 5
Royal GBP is a fully automated GBP-pair trading system for MetaTrader 5 that combines a trend-confirmation entry filter with a structured, multi-leg position management engine. Instead of opening one order per signal, Royal GBP splits every entry into several smaller positions and manages them as a group — giving the EA more flexibility to recover from adverse price movement than a single fixed-stop trade would allow.
How It Works
- Entry Signal — Royal GBP confirms direction using a fast/slow EMA crossover (20/50 period) on the H1 timeframe. A bullish crossover opens a buy batch; a bearish crossover opens a sell batch.
- Split-Entry Structure — Each signal is opened as a batch of multiple market orders (default: 3 legs) at a fixed base lot size, rather than a single large position. This spreads the entry across several tickets, which the recovery engine can manage independently.
- Protective Levels — Every leg is placed with its own take-profit (default 55 pips) and a wide catastrophic stop-loss as a hard safety net.
- Session Filter — Trading is restricted to a configurable server-time window and automatically skips weekends.
- Smart Recovery Batch — If the floating result of an open batch moves into a loss beyond a configurable threshold (default $50), the EA opens an additional same-direction batch sized at a configurable multiplier of the previous lot (default 1.35×), up to a configurable number of recovery steps (default 2). The entire position group is closed together once combined floating profit reaches a configurable target (default $6).
Important: the Recovery Batch module is a grid/averaging-style loss-recovery method — it increases market exposure while a batch is in drawdown, rather than relying purely on a per-trade stop-loss. This gives the system its recovery flexibility, but it also means exposure and drawdown can grow faster than a simple fixed-lot EA during strong, sustained directional moves. This should be stated plainly to buyers, not minimized.

Minimum equity: 1000 USD. Past or backtested performance is not a guarantee of future results — live results vary with broker spread, execution, and market conditions. Because the recovery mechanism adds to exposure during losing sequences, position sizing and equity headroom should be sized conservatively relative to account balance.
Risk Warning

Royal GBP's recovery-batch mechanism can increase lot exposure during drawdown periods; in strongly trending markets against the open direction, this can produce significant floating losses before recovery completes.
