GOLD Tight Scalper is an automated Expert Advisor developed for trading Gold (XAUUSD) on MetaTrader 5.
The EA uses a symmetrical pending-order strategy based on Buy Stop and Sell Stop orders positioned around the current market price.
When one pending order is triggered, the opposite order is automatically cancelled through an OCO (One Cancels the Other) management system.
GOLD Tight Scalper combines automated entries, dynamic position sizing, Stop Loss, Take Profit, spread protection, trading-session filters and trailing-stop management.
Trading LogicWhen market and session conditions are valid, the EA calculates two pending orders:
BUY STOP – placed above the current Ask price.
SELL STOP – placed below the current Bid price.
The pending-order distance is configurable.
The EA also checks the broker's minimum permitted stop distance and automatically adjusts the effective entry distance when necessary.
This allows the order-placement mechanism to adapt to different XAUUSD contract specifications.
Automatic OCO SystemGOLD Tight Scalper incorporates an automatic One Cancels the Other (OCO) mechanism.
When the Buy Stop is executed:
BUY STOP → BUY POSITION → SELL STOP CANCELLED
When the Sell Stop is executed:
SELL STOP → SELL POSITION → BUY STOP CANCELLED
The EA monitors trade transactions directly to detect an executed entry and remove the opposite pending order.
An additional position-based OCO check provides a secondary layer of order management.
Risk-Based Position SizingGOLD Tight Scalper automatically calculates the trading volume according to:
Account Equity + Selected Risk Percentage + Stop Loss Distance + Symbol Contract Specifications

Recommended Setup ProcedureBefore using GOLD Tight Scalper:
1. Open XAUUSD in MetaTrader 5.
