FibRetrace EA 2.0
Intraday Fibonacci pullback trading for MetaTrader 5.
FibRetrace EA 2.0 identifies trading opportunities around Fibonacci retracement zones and waits for confirmation before entering. Designed for H1 (one-hour) charts, it combines automated trade selection with configurable entry filters and position-management controls.
Trading approach
The advisor analyzes recent price movements to identify pullback opportunities. Entries require confirmation; touching a retracement level alone does not trigger a trade.
Optional trend, market-condition, and volume filters let you refine trade selection. Profit targets can be based on market volatility or price structure, with a minimum reward-to-risk requirement.
Position management
- A volatility-based stop loss is required for every trade.
- Optional trailing stop with a minimum adjustment threshold.
- One position per symbol.
- Opposite-position handling closes the existing position before entering in the new direction.
- Symbol and trade-identifier filtering for position management.
- No martingale.
Intraday controls
Configure trading hours, permitted weekdays, maximum trades per day, and waiting periods between entries. Spread filtering and slippage tolerance provide additional execution controls. Automatic end-of-session closing supports intraday position management.
Testing and requirements
Requires MetaTrader 5. Designed for H1 charts; test other timeframes before use.
Suitability for proprietary trading firm evaluations depends on your settings and the provider’s rules. Passing an evaluation is not guaranteed.
EURUSD backtest screenshots
The screenshots on this page show historical EURUSD backtests in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester. They are test results, not live-account performance. Results depend on the test period, settings, broker data and trading costs; they do not establish performance on other instruments.
Before you trade
- Start with an H1 chart and review the position size, stop loss, session hours and execution filters.
- Backtest your chosen settings using your broker’s data and costs, then forward-test on a demo account.
- Check the trading schedule against your broker’s time and any account rules before enabling live trading.
