Compression Breakout Box PRO for MetaTrader 5
Purpose: Identify high‑quality consolidation (“compression”) zones and mark confirmed breakouts on candle close with a complete, ready‑to‑use trade plan (Entry / Stop / Target1 / Target2).
What this indicator delivers
- Automatic Compression Box detected from closed candles with ATR(14) volatility scaling. Works on all symbols and all timeframes. (My Recommendation: Using 1 minute Time Frame, on XAUUSD, EURUSD, USDJPY, GBPUSD and other major pairs)
- Non‑repaint signals: arrows print only after the candle closes and never move to another candle.
- CONFIRMED mode (default): Break → Retest → Rebreak confirmation to filter fake breakouts.
- BREAK_ONLY mode: first closed candle outside the box triggers a breakout signal.
- Spread‑aware breakout buffer: the breakout threshold uses a buffer that is never smaller than a spread‑based minimum.
- Spread Anomaly Block: a live spread EMA identifies abnormal spread expansion and blocks new setups during high execution cost.
- Trend filter (EMA 200): aligns breakouts with the dominant direction and auto‑disables when there is not enough history.
- Trade Plan levels plotted on each signal: Entry, Stop, Target1 (1×BoxRange), Target2 (2×BoxRange). All levels are frozen at signal time.
- Market‑ready alerts with anti‑spam cooldown: Popup, Sound, Push, Email.
- Professional dashboard shows status, spread, ATR, EMA, box statistics and the latest trade plan.
- No DLL, no external connections. Pure MQL5 indicator.
How to use (exact workflow)
- Attach the indicator to the chart you trade.
- When the panel shows COMPRESSION, price is inside a volatility‑verified range. Do not open positions inside the box.
- Trade only when an arrow prints on a closed candle:
- CONFIRMED UP / CONFIRMED DOWN for retest‑confirmed breakouts (default).
- BREAK_ONLY for early entries on the first close outside the box.
- Use the drawn Trade Plan lines:
- Entry = signal candle close.
- Stop = opposite side of the box (with buffer).
- Target1 = Entry ± 1×BoxRange, Target2 = Entry ± 2×BoxRange.
- If the panel shows SPREAD BLOCK, do not trade. The indicator is measuring abnormal execution cost.
Transparent, testable rules
- All decisions use closed candles only.
- Box High/Low are frozen at creation; only the right edge extends while compression continues.
- Signals are deterministic and suitable for Visual Mode verification.
Customization
All visuals are user‑editable: colors, opacity, line styles, arrows, font, panel corner and offsets. Default settings are production‑ready and do not require manual optimization.
