Choose your strategy. Reproduce the test.

Official setup resources for the four MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisors by Fabien Martino. Updated for QuantumBit 1.20, Gold 4.10, Crypto Portfolio 1.40 and Bitcoin Regime 2.00. Download the matching SET below, or the complete TestPack containing instructions and native historical MT5 reports.

The files are free. They contain settings and test evidence, not the paid EA executable. Get the free demo or purchased robot from its official Market page. The Market demo works in the Strategy Tester only.

Which EA fits the strategy you want to test?

EA Market and method Important distinction
QuantumBit Pro 1.20 Bitcoin adaptive grid, H1 chart with H4 trend filter Flat lots by default; grid positions still accumulate exposure. For traders who understand basket management.
Gold Range Grid Mean Reversion 4.10 Gold trend/regime strategy, marketed as Gold Regime H1 Pro The registered title is retained. The current strategy follows trends; additional entries are off by default.
Crypto Portfolio Trend 1.40 BTC and ETH breakouts managed from one H1 instance Shared portfolio risk budgets and up to two pyramid adds. Two correlated assets do not guarantee diversification.
Bitcoin Regime H1 Pro 2.00 Bitcoin regime following with volatility-based exposure rebalancing The reference profile includes one adverse-move add. A matched no-add profile is also provided for comparison.

These are different trading methods, not a ranking by safety or a recommendation to run all four together. Several strategies trading Bitcoin can overlap their exposure. Compare each on your broker before choosing.

Downloads: choose the matching version

  • QuantumBitPro_v1.20_5000USD_001.set — v1.20 research profile, 0.01 lot, multiplier 1.0, compounding off.
  • GoldRegimeH1Pro_Balanced.set — v4.10 release defaults, including the profit trail and additional entries disabled.
  • CryptoPortfolioTrend_Balanced.set — v1.40 release defaults. Change BTCUSD and ETHUSD to the exact broker symbols when needed.
  • BitcoinRegimeH1Pro_v2.00_Reference.set — exact inputs from the published reference report, adverse-move add enabled.
  • BitcoinRegimeH1Pro_v2.00_NoLossAdd.set — exact inputs from the matched comparison report, adverse-move add disabled.

All five SET files and four TestPack ZIP archives are attached at the bottom of this post. Each pack includes START-HERE.txt in English and French, native reports and SHA-256 checksums. Bitcoin research Magic/comment and local monitoring filenames are preserved: use unique values for separate instances. A SET file does not set the test dates, deposit, leverage or modelling method.

Reproduce a test in MT5

  1. Download the Market demo and open View → Strategy Tester (Ctrl+R). Select the correct EA version and your broker’s exact symbol on H1.
  2. Open Inputs, reset the parameters, then right-click → Load and select the matching SET. For Crypto Portfolio, configure both BTC and ETH symbols, including suffixes; verify both in the initialization log.
  3. Set the dates, deposit and leverage from the native report’s Settings section. Match the model below. Use a single test, not optimization.
  4. Check symbol contract size, minimum lot, lot step, margin, spread, commission, swap and available historical data. These can change the result.
  5. Run the test and compare net profit, maximum relative equity drawdown, trade count and history quality. Read the Journal and examine losing windows too.
  6. After purchase or rental, evaluate on a demo account with a distinct Magic per intended instance. Do not apply a new profile to an open basket without reviewing its state and exposure.

What the reports establish — and their limits

  • Gold: 10 native reports compare v4.00 and v4.10 across five windows. USD 5,000, 1:100. Long windows use 1-minute OHLC; June and recent tick windows use real-tick mode with 100 ms delay. June has four generated missing tick minutes. v4.00 performed better in June; the recent period remains negative.
  • Crypto Portfolio: 10 reports compare v1.30 and v1.40. USD 5,000, 1:100. Long windows use 1-minute OHLC; June/recent tick windows use real-tick mode with 100 ms delay. 2020–2023 history quality is 90%. June has 215 generated missing tick minutes per symbol. Results are mixed; v1.30 earned more in 2024–mid-2026 without greater drawdown. The news filter is inactive in the Tester.
  • QuantumBit: four reports compare v1.10 and v1.20 over six years and the recent real-tick window. USD 5,000, 1:100. The six-year OHLC test has 96% history quality. The recent 98-day test uses real ticks and 100 ms delay and remains loss-making. The separate two-year check is described on the product page.
  • Bitcoin Regime: two reports compare the reference and no-add profiles for 1 January 2020–13 July 2026. USD 994, 1:30, OHLC M1, 93% history quality. This is not a full-period real-tick test. Disabling the add materially changes return and drawdown.

The tests use IC Markets (EU) data. Research deposits are test conditions, not universal safe minimum balances. These historical comparisons informed development; they are not independent prospective validation. No live-performance claim is made by this guide. A future forward record should identify the account type, broker, version, settings, start date and all changes before its results are used as evidence.

Report presentation: native numerical tables and trade lists are preserved. Some auxiliary chart PNGs were not retained in the original QuantumBit and Bitcoin Regime archives; the downloadable reports identify these omissions in place of broken images. No missing chart has been reconstructed.

Quick troubleshooting

No trade? Check exact symbol names, history, spread, trading hours, Algo Trading and Experts/Journal messages. A valid signal is still required; these EAs do not promise daily trades.

Different backtest? Compare version, inputs, symbol specifications, dates, modelling, delay and costs. Defaults and old SETs can differ. Historical broker data can also be revised.

Need help? Use the product’s MQL5 Comments or private messages with version, broker symbol, account mode, inputs and relevant journal lines. Remove account identifiers and credentials.
