Overdrive is our aggressive USDJPY compounder — and structurally one of the simplest EAs we sell: one position, a hard stop on every trade, lots that grow with the balance. The setup is short; understanding the drawdown you signed up for is the real content.


Setup
Attach to a USDJPY H1 chart. Defaults are the published configuration. There is no grid and no averaging: a wrong trade is stopped out for a bounded loss, and position size is computed from RiskPercent of current balance against the stop distance — that compounding is where the aggression lives.

The risk dial
The real every-tick backtest at RiskPercent 10 measured a maximum drawdown of about 29%. The shipping default is a more moderate 3 — you can raise it toward the published aggressive profile knowingly, or leave the default for a calmer compounding curve. Whatever you choose, configure the built-in safety guard (emergency margin close, daily loss stop) before going live; free-margin checks and lot normalization already run before every order.

What normal looks like
A single-position H1 trend system endures strings of small stopped losses in ranges and earns its year in a few extended USDJPY trends. Flat and losing weeks are part of the design; the news filter also skips entries around major events. As the balance compounds, absolute drawdowns grow — periodic profit withdrawal keeps the worst day survivable.
