Weekly Edge FX — Weekly Breakout Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5
Overview
Weekly Edge FX is a fully automated Expert Advisor designed to trade breakouts of the previous week's high and low using pending orders.
The system places Buy Stop and Sell Stop orders at key breakout levels, ensuring precise execution even during fast market moves. Once a breakout is triggered, the trade is managed automatically using a moving average trailing stop and optional profit-based exit.
No martingale. No grid. One breakout trade per week, per symbol.

How It Works
Weekly breakout levels
At the start of each new weekly candle, the EA records the high and low of the previous week. These levels define the breakout zones.
Pending order execution (no missed trades)
The EA places Buy Stop and Sell Stop orders above and below the breakout levels. This ensures the trade is executed even if price moves quickly or gaps through the level.
Smart trade management
Once a position is opened:

A Moving Average (M5) trails the stop loss

Optional profit target can close the trade early
Controlled exposure
Only one trade per week per symbol is allowed, preventing overtrading.
