HOW DOES THE ORB STRATEGY WORK?
Core Concept:
The bot identifies a price range during the first 30 minutes of the European session (08:00-08:30 Frankfurt time / 14:00-14:30 UTC) and trades the breakouts of that range.
Why does it work?
1. Institutional Volatility: The first minutes concentrate orders from major European institutions.
2. Real Momentum: Initial range breakouts tend to continue throughout the session.
3. High Liquidity: DAX40 has tight spreads and fast execution during European hours.
4. Multi-Filter Confirmation: It only trades when 7 independent systems approve the operation.
KEY FEATURES THAT MAKE IT UNIQUE
1. INTEGRATED ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The bot analyzes 8 market variables in real-time before every trade:
- Opening gap size
- Volatility ratio (current ATR vs. average)
- Volume ratio (current volume vs. average)
- Correlation strength among global indices
- Time of day (optimal window)

- Previous day's closing price

2. 7 ADVANCED FILTERS SYSTEM
It does not trade every breakout like basic EAs. Every trade must pass 7 quality controls:
A. News Filter
Blocks trades 2 minutes before/after high-impact news (CPI, ECB, PMI). Avoids erratic volatility from economic events.
B. Index Correlation Filter
Analyzes 4 indices simultaneously (US30, NAS100, SP500, DAX40). Only trades if 40%+ of indices move in the same direction. Confirms global institutional momentum.
C. Volume Filter
Requires minimum volume of 30% of the 20-bar average. Confirms real institutional participation. Avoids low-volume fake breakouts.
D. Volatility Filter (ATR)
ATR must be between 20%-500% of the average. Discards "sleeping" or extremely chaotic markets. Ensures optimal trading conditions.
E. Opening Gap Filter
Rejects gaps greater than 5%. Avoids abnormal openings due to external events (geopolitics, crises).
F. Spread Filter

G. Quad Oscillator Strategy (Technical Filter)
Uses 4 stochastics with different periods (9, 14, 40, 60). Uses 3 EMAs to confirm trend (20, 50, 200). "Super Signals" Mode: Blocks trades when all 4 oscillators are not aligned. Blocks counter-trend trades.
The result: Only 173 trades in 472,238 ticks (0.036% of signals approved) = ULTRA SELECTIVE.
3. PROFESSIONAL RISK MANAGEMENT
Automatic Position Sizing Calculation:
- Calculates lots automatically based on configured risk % (default: 1%).
- Dynamically adjusts according to: Account balance, Stop Loss distance, Current volatility (ATR), Broker restrictions (min/max lot, lot step).
Example: Account: €3,000; Risk: 1% (€30); SL: 50 points; Bot calculates: 0.60 lots automatically.
Multi-Level Drawdown Protection:
- Maximum daily loss: 3% (configurable).

Can I trade without a VPS?
YES, BUT with limitations. You can trade without a VPS if:
- Your PC is on from 14:00-19:00 UTC every day.
- You have a stable internet connection (fiber optic).
- Your latency to the broker is < 30ms.

Risks of trading without a VPS:
- Average slippage of 3-8 points more per trade.

STEP-BY-STEP INITIAL CONFIGURATION
1. Bot Installation
1. Download the DE40_RangePulse_EA.ex5 file from your purchase area.
2. Open MetaTrader 5.
3. Menu: File → Open Data Folder.
4. Navigate to: MQL5 → Experts.
5. Copy the .ex5 file into that folder.
6. Restart MetaTrader 5.

4. Does the bot trade at night / on weekends?
Answer: No. The bot only trades Monday to Friday, 14:00-19:00 UTC (08:00-13:00 Frankfurt time). Outside these hours: Passive monitoring with no trades. Respects market closures on holidays.
5. What if my broker has the symbol "DAX" instead of "GER40"?
Answer: The bot has automatic symbol resolution. Automatically detects: GER40, DAX40, DE40, GER30, DAX, GDAXI. Also works with broker suffixes: GER40.cash, DAX40-x, etc. If it fails, you can manually configure the symbol in the parameters.
6. Can I modify the code / see the source code?
Answer: No. It is delivered as a compiled .ex5 file for intellectual property protection and to prevent copying/redistribution. However, all parameters are configurable via inputs.
7. What happens if I change brokers?
Answer: The bot works on any compatible broker. Simply install it on the new MT5. Use your existing license (same email/MQL5 account). Request a new .SET file optimized for the new broker (free).
8. Does it work on MT4?
Answer: No. This bot is exclusive to MetaTrader 5 as it uses advanced MT5 functions not available in MT4. If you only have MT4, you need to open an account with an MT5 broker.
9. Can I use it on a prop firm account (FTMO, The5ers)?
Answer: YES, it is ideal for prop firms. Ultra-low drawdown (0.45%) complies with prop firm rules. 88% win rate makes passing challenges easier. 1 trade/day avoids over-trading. Recommended: Use in both challenge and funded account phases.
10. Do you offer a trading course / manual signals?
