Dual-Strategy Momentum & Pullback Engine for XAUUSD M15
Precision over frequency. XAU Triad Precision doesn't trade the news, doesn't chase every candle, and doesn't gamble on a single indicator. It combines two independent, purpose-built long strategies running in parallel on the same chart — each with its own logic, its own risk management, and its own circuit breaker — so a losing streak in one never drags down the other.
Why Triad is different
Most retail EAs are one signal wrapped in a stop-loss. Triad is built on a simple idea: markets move in two ways — they drift, and they explode. So we built one module for each.
- Module 1 — Trend Pullback. Waits for price to pull back to the 50-period EMA inside a confirmed multi-timeframe uptrend (M15 + H1 + H4 aligned), then enters only on a confirmed resumption candle — never on the pullback itself. This is the workhorse: steady, high win-rate, low drawdown.
- Module 2 — Breakout Continuation. Catches the acceleration phase when price clears a short-term range with RSI still below overbought — designed to enter early, not after the move is already exhausted.
Both modules share a disciplined exit engine: swing-based stop-loss, fixed reward-to-risk target, chandelier trailing stop once the trade is in profit, and a hard time-stop so capital is never left idle in a stalling trade. A per-module circuit breaker automatically pauses trading after consecutive losses — the EA protects itself before you have to.

Stress-tested across spread conditions from 0.35 to 1.20 — the system remains profitable at every level tested (net profit ranging $2,869–$3,528), confirming it isn't dependent on ideal broker conditions.
Parameter robustness: every input was individually stressed ±20% around its optimized value. Median performance across all neighboring parameter sets stayed within a few percent of baseline — this is not a curve-fitted set of magic numbers, it's a system that keeps working when reality doesn't match the backtest exactly.
