Result of Blessing2 v5.2 - Bobster's settings for EU and GU
Hi all, this is the result as of today, after about 11 days running v5.2 on-and-off (not 24hrs/day). I am using Bobster settings for EU and GU. Pretty good result.
Initial Investment: USD3000.00
Net profit : 2408.29 (GU: 1377.69 / EU: 1030.60)
Gross profit : 3162.50 (GU: 2122.80 / EU: 1039.70)
Gross loss : 753.80 (GU 744.70 / EU: 9.10)
Total number of trades : 155 (GU: 134 / EU: 21)
Total number of pips : 2132 (GU: 1113 / EU: 1019)
Percentage profitable : 78.1% (GU: 77.6% / EU: 81%)
Average pips per trade : 13 (GU: 8 / EU: 48)
Number of winning trades : 121 (GU: 104 / EU: 17)
Number of losing trades : 34 (GU: 30, EU: 4)
Average winning trade : 26.14
Average losing trade : 22.17
Average winning pips : 23
Average losing pips : 21
Return (11 days) : 80.3% (GU: 45.9% / EU: 34.4%)

and which session did you turn on and turn off the robot?

I am using FXDD with leverage 1:200. I trade in all sessions, although please take note that I do not have a VPS account yet, so there are times that I am not online, hence no trading at those times.
My initial deposit is USD3K, so I started off with MM=true. I traded 0.01 lots until my equity is up to USD3.3K. From there, I set MM=False, and set my lot at 0.1. with Multiplier at 1.4. From there on, I let the EA run on its own whenever I can be online.
In short, I trade in all sessions, whenever I can (not 24 hours). I also trade on Friday, and I carry open positions to next week (maybe a bit dangerous
)

Dear all,
Maybe we should also practice some good way of trading using the marvelous strategy and framework that Blessing2 has offered us. This is what I do:
1. Changing InitialAccount. When my equity grows to a certain level, I stop the EA and I change my InitialAccount value. Example, when I reached equity 4000 (from 3000), i change InitialAccount to 4000. That way, I anything bad happen, I can make sure 2000 is safe (instead of 1500 initially).
2. Changing FloatPercent. During news times that we feel it might have negative effect compared to our trading directions, we might want to change the FloatPercent so that we only trade according to the risk we can take.
I dont know about others, but as a trader, my first priority is to protect the investment, then only to gain profit.

on backtests bobsters settings do relatively the same profit as irons files, maybe a little smaller. but that is for april and may 09. if march is included, bobsters blessing crashes no matter the initial balance even if it is very high. it does not happen with irons settings on 5.1. i do not have any problems with them. perhaps anyone here can explain this to me

-RJ1-thanks RJ1, I assume it is a $1 per pip when you set it to 0.1 lot, is that correct?
I am currently using 0.01 lot, ie: 10cent per pip for my standard account

How can it crash with the 50% account balance SL? I am demoing it with a 5k account. I have initial account size set to 1k and portion at 7, so right now on the grid it is showing a portion amount of roughly 700.00 so the account balance or equity SL should kick in at -350.00. Does that sound right?

-RJ1-Interesting results! Which broker are you using? Do you mind posting your statements here as well? I used my settings over the past 2 weeks, and didnt have as much success as you did! Would like to see what was different.
Haven't tried other pairs yet, will do in a week or so.
