EUR/USD moved slightly lower but remained broadly unchanged near the 1.1300 level after US data showed initial jobless claims declined more than expected in the latest week.
Initial jobless claims dropped by 43,000 to 265,000 in the week ending January 24, marking the the lowest level in 14 years. However, the dollar failed to gain traction from data and stood little changed at the 1.1310 zone against the euro. Next on tap will be US pending home sales numbers.
EUR/USD technical levels
As for technical levels, EUR/USD could find immediate supports at 1.1260 (daily low) and 1.1223 (Jan 27 low). On the other hand, resistances are seen at 1.1326 (daily high) and 1.1381 (Jan 28 high).
