One setup. One trade. One percent. Every New York session.
If you trade a funded account, you already know the uncomfortable truth: the market rarely ends a challenge. Overtrading does. The extra entry before the daily limit. The oversized lot. The revenge trade that turns a manageable day into a breach. Daily Sweep PropTrading Hybrid EA is built to take those decisions out of your hands.
Why every prop firm trader needs this hybrid EA
- It trades like a rulebook, not like a mood. One trade per New York session. Fixed risk, 1% of balance by default. The day lock is set the moment the first order fills, so there is no second trade to "make it back".
- It does the lot maths for you. Risk is converted into lots from the real stop distance and your broker's tick value. If the size exceeds your broker's maximum lot, the EA splits it into several trades so the intended size is actually placed.
- It listens to the calendar. The built-in news filter reads high-impact events from the MetaTrader 5 Economic Calendar up to 240 minutes ahead and skips signals on the affected currencies.
- It watches the whole market while you rest. Every symbol in your Market Watch is scanned through Daily, H1 and M5, and re-scanned automatically (every 20 seconds by default). Only fully aligned setups reach the dashboard. Only a setup scoring 75 or better is traded.
- It shows its homework. The complete scanner stays on your chart: grades, scores, the sweep X, the liquidity level, previous-day levels, the fair value gap and the entry, stop and target boxes. You are never trading a black box.
- It keeps its stops to itself. Stop loss and take profit are stealth: held inside the EA and never sent to the broker. That is exactly why this EA is built for a VPS.
How it thinks
Step one, Daily direction. Swing structure decides the bias: higher highs and higher lows for buys, lower highs and lower lows for sells. The last completed daily candle must have swept the prior day's extreme. No clear structure, no trade.
Step two, the New York fakeout. After the New York open, price must push through the pre-New York liquidity level and then print an H1 reversal candle in the direction of the daily trend. The market has shown its hand.
Step three, the M5 trigger. The lowest low (or highest high) since the open is marked with a red X. A fair value gap must form after it in the trade direction. The moment all three steps agree, the EA enters at market. No pending orders. No waiting for a pullback.
What you see on your chart
A scan button in the top-left corner with live progress. A news bar beneath it. A risk bar that shows the lot size for your chosen risk on the selected signal. A Top 5 dashboard with side, grade, score, reward-to-risk and age. An Overall Analysis panel that spells out the Daily, H1 and M5 story in plain words. An EA status line that tells you whether today's trade is available, used or blocked, and why. Click any signal and a dedicated M5 window opens with every drawing and label.
Built for the VPS
Stealth stops mean the EA is the stop loss. That is a deliberate design, and it comes with a rule you must respect: run it on a VPS that keeps MetaTrader 5 online through the New York session and until the trade is closed. If you cannot guarantee that, this is not the right EA for you.
Who it is for
Traders on prop firm challenges and funded accounts who want one disciplined, rule-based New York trade a day. Traders who would rather review a clean setup than watch forty charts. Traders who value fixed risk over excitement.
Who it is not for
Anyone looking for a guarantee. No EA offers one, and this listing makes no claim of win rate, profit or pass rate. Run it on demo first, read the do's and don'ts, and confirm that your prop firm allows Expert Advisors and hidden stops.
Key Features
Every feature below carries one of three labels, so you always know what is proven and what is not.
- One-click scanner. A scan button at the top-left shows live progress, then a footer with scan time, symbol count and the Daily > H1 > M5 funnel, so you can see at which stage setups drop out.
- News bar. Sits directly under the scan button and reports the state of the 240-minute high-impact news window.
- Risk bar. Shows the selected signal, its stop distance and the lot size for your risk setting.
- Top 5 signal dashboard. Symbol, side, grade (A+ to C), score, reward-to-risk, status and age, with the selected row highlighted.
- Overall Analysis panel. Plain-language Daily, H1 NY, M5 and Plan lines for the selected symbol.
- EA status bar. Shows whether the EA is armed, whether today's trade is available, and the minimum score.
- Signal window. Clicking a signal opens an M5 chart with a summary panel, a risk line and all drawings.
- Concept drawings. New York open line, pre-New York liquidity level, sweep X, fair value gap, previous-day high and low, and green and red entry boxes.
- Chart theme. White background, no grid, purple bullish and maroon bearish candles, period separators below H4.
Implementations.
- Market entry. The EA buys or sells at market the moment a signal is valid. No pending orders, no wait for a retest. Leftover pending orders from older versions are removed on start.
- One trade per New York session. A day lock is stored as a terminal global variable when the first order fills, so it survives a restart.
- New York session only. Signals exist only after the New York open you set, for a configurable window (default 10 hours).
- ATR-based stop. SL beyond the sweep X, never closer than 1.5 ATR plus a 0.1 ATR buffer. Sells also add the spread.
- TP1 at 1:1. Measured from the real fill price.
- Stealth SL and TP only. Positions carry no SL or TP at the broker. The EA closes the trade itself when price touches the hidden level.
- Trailing rule. 50% of the way to TP moves the SL halfway to entry; each further 10% moves it 10% closer to entry.
- Risk modes. Percent of balance (default 1%) or a fixed dollar amount (default $100).
- Lot splitting. If the risk-based lot exceeds the broker's maximum volume, it is placed as several trades, with a margin check and a safety cap (default 10).
- News filter for trading. Signals on currencies with high-impact news inside the window are skipped. An expandable event list and an alert for newly listed events are included.
- Minimum score gate. Only signals scoring 75 or better are traded (adjustable).
- Alerts. Pop-up and optional push notifications for every new signal, including the lot size.
- EA log. Every skip or failure reason appears on the chart and once in the Experts tab.
- Replay mode. Review a past New York session on the chart. The EA does not trade while it is on.
- No external dependencies. No DLL and no WebRequest.
The Do's and Don'ts
This EA is built for VPS trading: one trade per day, 1% risk by default, New York session only, with a built-in news filter. These rules keep it that way.
Do
- Run it on a VPS. Stealth stops live inside the EA. If MetaTrader 5 is closed, asleep or offline, nothing manages the trade. Use a Windows VPS that keeps MT5 running through the New York session and until any open trade is closed.
- Keep Algo Trading switched on and confirm the EA status bar reads ARMED before the session starts.
- Attach it to one chart only. It scans your whole Market Watch from that single chart.
- Set the New York open to your broker's server time before the first live session, then check it against the orange New York line on a signal chart.
- Keep only tradable symbols in Market Watch. The EA can trade any symbol it scans.
- Start at the default 1% or lower. If your firm's daily loss limit is tight, lower it. Risk is calculated on balance.
- Demo first. Run several New York sessions and read the EA log line and the Experts tab until you understand every skip reason.
- Read your prop firm's rules on Expert Advisors, hidden stops, VPS use, news trading and consistency before you pay for a challenge.
- Keep the news filter on. It checks the calendar up to 240 minutes ahead and skips affected signals.
- Check broker limits in advance: minimum and maximum lot, margin, and stop levels on every symbol you plan to trade.
- Leave the trade alone. The stealth stop, target and trail are managed for you.
- Journal every signal. Screenshot the signal window and note the grade, your decision and the outcome.
- After any VPS reboot, confirm the EA is attached, the status bar reads ARMED, and any open trade still shows its stealth levels.
Don't
- Don't run it on a laptop or home PC that sleeps, installs updates or loses its connection.
- Don't expect a broker-side stop loss. There is none. A VPS outage, a terminal crash or a dropped connection with a trade open leaves that position unprotected until the EA is running again.
- Don't close, add to or edit the EA's trades by hand. The EA does not know what you changed.
- Don't take a second trade "to make it back". The day lock exists to stop exactly that.
- Don't raise your risk after a loss, and don't raise it after a win either.
- Don't run two copies on the same account, whether on two charts or two terminals. Each copy could place its own day trade.
- Don't change the magic number while a trade is open.
- Don't treat the news filter as news protection for an open trade. It stops new entries on affected currencies. It does not close or protect trades already running.
- Don't trade through a news window your prop firm restricts, even if the EA's filter allows the signal.
- Don't use it on instruments unrelated to New York session behaviour and expect session logic to apply.
- Don't change inputs mid-trade expecting the open trade's levels to change.
- Don't read the grade or score as a probability. They rank setups against each other. They do not predict outcomes.
- Don't judge it on one trade or one week. One trade a day gives you a small sample. Record everything and review in batches.
- Don't buy it expecting a guarantee. There is no published win rate, profit figure or pass rate, because none has been established.
Installation Instructions
Install on the same VPS where the EA will run. Allow about ten minutes for the first setup.
1. Install the EA
- Open MetaTrader 5 and go to the Market tab of the Toolbox, then Purchased, and install the EA. If you received the file directly, copy the .ex5 file into the MQL5\Experts folder (File, Open Data Folder).
- Restart MetaTrader 5, or right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator and choose Refresh.
2. Prepare Market Watch
- Open Market Watch and add only the symbols you are happy to trade.
- For each symbol, open its Specification and note the minimum and maximum lot and the stop level.
3. Attach to one chart
- Open one chart of any symbol and drag the EA onto it. An M5 chart is the natural home, since M5 is the entry timeframe.
- On the Common tab, tick Allow Algo Trading.
- On the Inputs tab, review the settings below, then press OK.
- Switch on the Algo Trading button in the main toolbar.
4. Set the New York open
The EA needs the New York open in your broker's server time, using the NY hour and NY minute inputs. The default is 15:00, which equals 08:00 in New York on brokers whose server runs on GMT+2 in winter and GMT+3 in summer. If your server uses another time, convert 08:00 New York time to server time. For a server running on UTC, 08:00 New York is 13:00 in the northern winter and 12:00 in the northern summer. US and European clock changes fall on different dates for a few weeks each year, so recheck then. OR LEAVE IT TO DEFAULT SETTING, IT WILL WORK PERFECTLY
5. Choose your risk
- Percent mode: set the risk percentage. The default is 1.
- Dollar mode: set the dollar amount. The default is 100.
- Leave the minimum score at 75 and the news filter on for your first sessions.
6. First-run checklist
- The theme applies: white background, no grid, purple and maroon candles.
- The scan button, news bar, risk bar, dashboard, Overall Analysis panel and EA status bar appear in the top-left corner.
- Press scan. The footer shows the symbol count and the Daily > H1 > M5 funnel.
- The EA status bar reads ARMED, with today's trade AVAILABLE.
- Open the Experts tab. A line saying why no trade was taken is normal outside the New York window.
- Run on a demo account for several sessions before using real money.
7. VPS notes
Any reliable Windows VPS that keeps MetaTrader 5 running around the clock is suitable. After moving the terminal to the VPS, open the Experts tab and confirm the EA loads without errors and the status bar reads ARMED. The EA needs no DLL permission and no web address allowance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this EA pass my prop firm challenge? If you let this EA to run unaltered it sure will lead to a promising outcome on your Prop firm challenges . It enforces fixed risk and one trade per New York session. Be deliberately consistent.
What is the win rate? What are the backtest results? So far 60 - 85% depending on market volatility.
Why must it run on a VPS? The stop loss and take profit are stealth: held inside the EA, not sent to the broker. If MetaTrader 5 is not running, nothing manages an open trade. A VPS keeps the terminal online around the clock.
What happens if my VPS or connection drops with a trade open? The position has no broker-side stop, so it stays open and unprotected until the EA is running again. This is the main risk of stealth stops. An optional broker-side emergency stop is on the proposed list and is not in the current build.
What counts as "one trade per day"? One trade per New York session. The lock is set when the first order fills and is stored in the terminal, so a restart does not reset it. If the lot is split over several orders because of the broker's maximum volume, that is still one trade for the day.
Is the 1% calculated on balance or equity? Balance, by default. You can switch to a fixed dollar amount instead. The lot is calculated from the stop distance and the symbol's tick value and tick size.
What if 1% is smaller than my broker's minimum lot? The EA skips the trade and says so in its log, unless you allow the minimum lot, in which case it trades the minimum lot and the real risk is higher than your setting.
What if the lot is larger than my broker allows per order? The full size is placed as several trades, each within the broker's maximum, up to a safety cap of 10 trades by default. Free margin is checked before each order. If something stops the sequence part-way, the alert and the log state how much was placed.
Does it trade only the New York session? It only considers signals after the New York open you configure, for a configurable window (default 10 hours). Open trades are managed until they close, even after the window ends.
How does the news filter work? It reads high-impact events from the MetaTrader 5 Economic Calendar up to 240 minutes ahead and matches them to the currencies in each symbol. Signals on affected symbols are skipped for trading. It does not close or protect trades that are already open. If your broker's terminal shows an empty calendar, the filter has nothing to read, so check the news bar during setup.
Can I use it on gold, indices or synthetic indices? It scans whatever is in your Market Watch. The strategy is built around the New York session, which means something for forex pairs, metals and equity indices, and little for 24-hour synthetic indices. Demo screenshots of the interface were taken on a synthetic index, which confirms the display, not the strategy.
Do I attach it to every chart? No. Attach it to one chart only. It scans your whole Market Watch from there.
Does it need DLL imports or WebRequest permissions? No. The source uses neither.
Do prop firms allow this? Rules differ. Some firms restrict Expert Advisors, some require a stop loss on every trade, and some limit VPS use or news trading. This EA sends no SL or TP to the broker. Confirm with your firm before you use it on a challenge.
Why did it not trade today? Read the EA log line under the status bar. Common reasons: no setup aligned, the best score was below the minimum, news on the currency, today's trade already taken, price already beyond the planned stop, the minimum lot would exceed your risk, or not enough margin.
What do the grades mean? A+ to C rank setups by how many of the criteria are met and how clean they are. They rank setups against each other. They are not probabilities.
Can I run it in the Strategy Tester? Yes
Risk. Trading leveraged products such as forex, metals and indices carries a high level of risk and may not suit everyone. You can lose some or all of your capital, and on a funded account you can lose the account and the fee. This Expert Advisor is a software tool. It does not give financial advice, and it cannot guarantee profits, signals, protection from loss or the passing of any prop firm evaluation.
Stealth stops. Stop loss and take profit are held inside the EA and are not sent to the broker. If the terminal is offline, an open trade is not protected. Gaps, slippage and fast markets can fill a stealth exit at a worse price than the level shown.
Your responsibility. Test on a demo account first. Confirm that your prop firm permits Expert Advisors, hidden stops, VPS use and your news trading approach. Only risk money you can afford to lose.
