KD Auto SLTP and Custom Price Alerts is a trade planning and risk management indicator for MetaTrader 5. It calculates Stop Loss levels from nearby swing structure, provides multiple Take Profit methods, calculates position size according to a selected percentage of account balance, and includes up to nine user-defined price alert lines.
The indicator uses a configurable ZigZag structure engine together with an Average True Range (ATR) buffer to determine structural Stop Loss levels. Swing structure can be sourced from the current timeframe or a higher timeframe. Take Profit can be calculated from an opposing market structure target or from a fixed risk-to-reward ratio.
Entry, Stop Loss, and Take Profit preview lines can be repositioned directly on the chart, allowing the calculated setup to be adjusted visually. KD Auto SLTP also includes the Prop Firm Drawdown Shield, leverage protection, draggable custom price alerts, keyboard controls, and real-time synchronization with KD SMC Mini Charts.

Draggable Entry, SL and TP Lines: Reposition the Entry, Stop Loss, and Take Profit preview levels directly on the chart. Moving the Entry line adjusts the associated SL and TP levels together to preserve the planned setup.

Prop Firm Drawdown Shield: Configure an initial balance reference and maximum daily and total drawdown thresholds for account-level risk monitoring.

Leverage Protection: Configure a maximum leverage limit or use the broker's leverage information as a reference for the protection logic.

9 Custom Price Alerts: Set up to nine independent price-alert lines, drag each line to the required price level, and receive a sound notification when an armed level is reached.

Hotkey Controls: Create Buy/Sell previews, show or hide SL/TP lines and labels, manage the nine custom price-alert lines, and reset the trade preview to the current market price directly from the keyboard.

Practical Use Cases
Use Case 1: Plan SL, TP and Lot Size Before Entry
- Setup: Create a Buy or Sell preview before placing a trade.
- In practice: KD Auto SLTP calculates the Stop Loss distance in pips, position size based on your selected risk %, and Take Profit using either opposing market structure or a fixed R:R target. Entry, SL and TP lines can then be dragged directly on the chart for manual adjustment.
- Purpose: Provides the key trade-planning values — Entry, SL, TP, pip distance, lot size, risk and R:R — in one visual setup before execution.
Use Case 2: Monitor the Same SL/TP Setup Across Timeframes
- Setup: Run KD Auto SLTP together with KD SMC Mini Charts.
- In practice: The Entry, Stop Loss and Take Profit preview levels from the main chart are mirrored onto the mini charts, allowing the same planned setup to be viewed against lower- or higher-timeframe price structure.
- Purpose: Keeps your trade levels visible across multiple timeframe views without switching chart tabs.
Use Case 3: Set and Monitor Custom Price Alerts Across Timeframes
- Setup: Add any of the nine custom price-alert lines to levels you want to monitor.
- In practice: Use Ctrl+Shift+1 to 9 to show an alert line, drag it to the required price, and receive a sound notification when the level is reached. When KD SMC Mini Charts is running, supported alert lines are also mirrored onto the mini charts.
