Sovereign Swing X
Sovereign Swing X is a multi-zone H1 breakout Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. Instead of one fixed strategy, it runs six independently-toggleable breakout zones (Orion, Draco, Lyra, Phoenix, Atlas, Vega), each with its own session windows, entry logic, and take-profit targeting. Built-in session filters, a news-event filter, automatic break-even/trailing management, and live margin/volume safety checks let it manage trades from entry to exit without manual intervention.

Activating the EA — Why It Matters
Attaching Sovereign Swing X to a chart is not enough on its own — it will not place a single trade until live/auto trading is actually switched on:
- Click the "Algo Trading" button in the MT5 toolbar so it's highlighted green.
- In the EA's properties window (Common tab), tick "Allow Algo Trading" for that chart.
- Make sure your broker account itself allows automated/expert trading (some demo/prop-firm accounts disable this by default).
If any of these are off, the EA keeps running its internal logic and logging warnings ("automated trading is disabled," "trading is not allowed for this account," etc.) but silently skips every trade — nothing will show up in your terminal even though the EA appears active on the chart. Always confirm the smiley-face icon (or the Algo Trading light) is green after attaching it.

Lot Size Options — How to Choose
Under "Lot Settings" in the Inputs tab, the Lot Mode dropdown gives you four ways to size trades:

Why Historical Max DD is recommended: every zone (Orion, Draco, Lyra, Phoenix, Atlas, Vega) behaves differently — different entry frequency, different average trade duration, different worst-case losing streaks. Fixed lot and simple risk-% modes size all zones the same way, which can under- or over-expose you depending on which zones you enable. Historical Max DD mode uses each zone's own documented drawdown figure (visible as SSX_HistMaxDD_Zone[Name] inputs) so your position size reflects that specific zone's real risk profile — giving you more consistent risk exposure across whichever zone combination you choose to run.
