Zone Swing Trader is a trading robot based on the Quad Exponential Moving Averages, Zone Swing Trading Strategy.
The Expert Advisor works on Indices, Currencies, Commodities, Stocks & Cryptocurrencies; it can be applied to any time-frame.
The trading robot focuses on Timing, Trend, Momentum & Minimization of Risk.

It is recommended to run the Expert on Virtual Hosting for ideal performance although not compulsory.
The Expert Advisor has no Symbol and or Broker Restrictions.
HOW TO TEST OUR PRODUCT
**You first need to run an optimization test to find your ideal input parameter Set for your Symbol**
STEP 1: Download the Expert, Refresh your Advisors list on the terminal Navigator then right click on the Zone Swing Trader Expert and select Test to launch the Strategy Tester.
STEP 2: Settings: Select Expert, Select Symbol, Select Minimum Time frame, Select your Custom Period, Delays, Modelling, Deposit, Leverage, Optimization enabled & Criterion.
STEP 3: Inputs: Select Parameters you wish to optimize and input their Start, Step and Stop values then Start Test.
STEP 4: Optimization Results; Set Criterion to sort by your preferred column;
Right click on the results and filter out the following results: Zero Trades, Losses, Draw down > 50%, Sharpe Ratio <0.5 & Recovery Factor < 1.
Once Optimization is Complete, Choose a parameter set that meets your custom requirements among the top results.
Users may look for a Tester Set/Pass Result that is profitable, Low Draw down, Profit Factor greater than 1.00, A Recovery Factor greater than 1.00, A Sharpe Ratio greater than 0.5 & Relatively higher number of total trades.
STEP 5: Right click the Selected Tester Input Set/Pass then Run Single Test.
Once satisfied with the single test results,Right click to Save the Selected Parameters set file for use on live trading or Demo test run.
HOW TO INSTALL:
STEP 1: Open a Chart of the Symbol you wish to Trade, Download the Expert Advisor, Refresh your expert advisors list on the terminal Navigator then right click on the Zone Swing Trader and select Attach to chart.
STEP 2: Common Tab; Allow Algo Trading & Allow modification of Signal Settings. Inputs Tab; Load the saved Input Parameter Set file saved on your Step 5 of testing then click OK.
STEP 3: Click on Tool on the terminal then select options then go to Expert Advisors tab and Allow Algorithmic Trading then click OK.
STEP 4: Ensure Algo Trading is Enabled. If not, Enable.
STEP 5: Migrate to Virtual Hosting (OPTIONAL) then Start monitoring.
INPUT PARAMETERS
- Shorter Signal Period = Shorter Signal Exponential Moving Average Period.
- Longer Signal Period = Longer Signal Exponential Moving Average Period.
- Signal Time frame = Shorter Signal & Longer Signal Exponential Moving Averages time frame.
- Shorter Trend Period = Shorter Trend Exponential Moving Average Period.
- Longer Trend Period = Longer Trend Exponential Moving Average Period.
- Trend Time frame = Shorter Trend & Longer Trend Exponential Moving Averages time frame.
- Stop Points = Fixed Stop Loss, Points from Entry.
- Trailing Points = Trailing Stop Loss, Points from Current Price.
- Profit Points = Take Profit Target, Points from Entry.
- Lot Volume = Order Lot, Any value between Minimum Lot and Maximum Lot. Higher values are automatically set at correct maximum value and lower values are automatically set at correct minimum value for the Symbol.
- Order Type = Market orders or Pending Orders. If Symbol does not allow market orders, all orders will be automatically converted to pending orders.
- Action Intervals = Tick or Bar, Trigger to Analyse for new actions can be set at new bar or new tick.
- Bar Period = If Action Intervals trigger is set at new bar, Specify new bar time frame.
TRADING CONDITIONS
- BUY CONDITIONS = If BUY SIGNAL is TRUE and TREND SIGNAL is UP.
- TREND UP = If Shorter Trend Exponential Moving Average is higher than the Longer Trend Exponential Moving Average.
- BUY SIGNAL = If Shorter Signal Exponential Moving Average is greater than Longer Signal Exponential Moving Average and Previously Shorter Signal Exponential Moving Average was lower than Longer Signal Exponential Moving Average.
- CLOSE BUY = If Shorter Signal Exponential Moving Average is lower than Longer Signal Exponential Moving Average or If Shorter Trend Exponential Moving Average is lower than Longer Trend Exponential Moving Average. Alternatively if Price is lower than Current Stop Loss Level.
- BUY POSITION STOP LOSS = Once the order has been accepted the FIXED STOP LOSS will be applied, If the TRAILING STOP LOSS is higher than the current stop loss then TRAILING STOP LOSS will be applied. The TRAILING STOP LOSS will continuously repeat function until closure of the position.
- SELL CONDITIONS = If SELL SIGNAL is TRUE and TREND SIGNAL is DOWN.
- TREND DOWN = If Shorter Trend Exponential Moving Average is lower than the Longer Trend Exponential Moving Average.
- SELL SIGNAL = If Shorter Signal Exponential Moving Average is lower than Longer Signal Exponential Moving Average and Previously Shorter Signal Exponential Moving Average was higher than Longer Signal Exponential Moving Average.
- CLOSE SELL = If Shorter Signal Exponential Moving Average is higher than Longer Signal Exponential Moving Average or If Shorter Trend Exponential Moving Average is higher than Longer Trend Exponential Moving Average. Alternatively if Price is higher than the Current Stop Loss Level.
- SELL POSITION STOP LOSS = Once the order has been accepted the FIXED STOP LOSS will be applied, If the TRAILING STOP LOSS is lower than the current stop loss then TRAILING STOP LOSS will be applied. The TRAILING STOP LOSS will continuously repeat function until closure of the position.
