⚙️ How It Works
Gold Breakout Fusion runs 5 independent breakout strategies in parallel, each with its own swing detection logic, stop loss, take profit, and risk allocation. The combined effect is a smoother equity curve than any single strategy alone — the diversification is what produces a Sharpe of 6.90 with a 4.38% drawdown.
- Swing detection (D1): the EA scans daily highs and lows looking for valid swing points (configurable left/right bars per strategy). When a swing is intact and price approaches it, a stop order is placed just beyond the level.
- Trend filter (H4, optional): EMA 50 on H4 acts as a directional bias. Buy stops only above the EMA, sell stops only below. Configurable: turn off, change to SMA, or change the period.
- FakeOut filter (optional): rejects swings that show signs of weak follow-through (e.g., long upper wicks on potential resistance). Three levels: Off / Weak / Strong.
- Hourly evaluation: the EA reassesses the current swings once per H1 candle close. Configurable to D1 or H4 if you prefer fewer signals.
- Trailing stop (ATR-based, optional): once a position is in profit by a configurable multiple of ATR(14), the stop loss trails behind price using ATR distance. Locks in gains without choking trades.
- Risk per trade: 0.5% by default (MEDIUM mode), with LOW (0.30%) and HIGH (1.00%) presets. Custom percentage available.
The 5 strategies use different swing parameters — some look at recent swings (50–110 bar lookback), others at longer-term levels (160–240 bar lookback). This is what creates the diversification.

Daily Loss Guard — Set a daily loss percentage. The EA monitors equity in real-time and automatically closes all positions and cancels pendings if the limit is reached. Stays inactive until the next trading day. Helps stay within prop firm rules.
One Position FIFO Mode — For brokers and prop firms requiring First-In-First-Out (Oanda, Forex.com, and others). Limits the EA to a single open position at a time, ensuring full compliance with FIFO regulations.

I don't sell that. One more honest note: be careful with systems marketed under labels like ICT or SMC. Those frameworks rely heavily on human judgment to identify setups. When someone claims to have automated them into a black-box EA, it usually means the rules were never clearly defined to begin with — and an undefined rule cannot have a measurable edge.
