Gold Trading Robot for Asia Session
G-Asia Trader is a specialized Expert Advisor (EA) designed exclusively for XAUUSD (Gold) trading during the Asia trading session.
The robot takes advantage of Gold’s unique volatility during the Asian session (00:00 – 09:00 GMT+2), which tends to move in defined ranges with occasional, measurable breakouts.
Fixed Lot Size
The robot uses a **user-defined fixed lot size** that remains constant regardless of account floating profit or loss. This provides **predictable risk per trade** and simplifies money management.
Recommended fixed lot settings:
- $1,000 account:** 0.01 – 0.02 lots
- $5,000 account:** 0.05 – 0.10 lots
- $10,000 account:** 0.10 – 0.20 lots
Pending Orders (Buy Stop & Sell Stop)
At the start of each Asia session, the robot places **two pending orders**:
- Buy Stop at price +X pips above the session’s opening price
- Sell Stop at price -Y pips below the session’s opening price
The pending order distance is dynamic and can be adjusted based on Gold’s average volatility (e.g., 100–200 pips). The goal is to capture **early breakout moves**.
If one pending order gets triggered, the opposite pending order is automatically deleted**.
Averaging System (Controlled Martingale)
When the initial position moves against the expected direction by a certain distance (e.g., 200 pips), the robot opens **averaging positions** with:
- Fixed lot size** (same as initial position)
- Adjustable distance between averaging levels (e.g., 200, 400, 600 pips)
- Limited maximum averaging levels** (typically 2–4 levels) to control risk
This strategy allows the robot to **lower the average entry price** (dollar cost averaging) so the position can return to breakeven faster during pullbacks.
Warning: Averaging carries significant risk. Therefore, the robot includes a maximum level limit and a global cut-loss feature
if floating loss exceeds a certain percentage of account equity.
Trailing Start & Trailing Stop

Profit protection begins only after the position reaches a predefined profit level (e.g., 300 pips). Below this level, the trailing stop remains inactive.
Trailing Stop
Once the trailing start condition is met, the robot activates a **moving stop loss** that follows price action at a **fixed distance** (e.g., 150 pips). This helps to:
- Lock in profits as the price moves further
- Give price room to breathe** without getting stopped out too early
- Maximize gains** during strong trends
Risk Management Features
- Max Spread: The robot only trades if spread ≤ 30 points (3.0 for Gold)
- Max Floating Loss: If floating loss exceeds 15% of equity, the robot forcibly closes all positions
- Take Profit & Stop Loss remain adjustable as additional safety layers
