"Murasame", büyük fiyat hareketleriyle bilinen GBPJPY paritesini orta-uzun vadeli olarak işlem yapmak için tasarlanmış bir EA'dır.
GBPJPY, uzun (alış) yönünde trendlerin sürmesine eğilimliyken, kısa (satış) yönünde kısa sürede sert hareketler gösterme eğilimindedir. Buna dayanarak, EA uzun pozisyonlarda orta-uzun vadeli trend takibini, kısa pozisyonlarda ise kısa vadeli scalping'i bir araya getirir.

Ana strateji uzun (alış) pozisyonlar üzerine kuruludur; kısa (satış) tarafı ise yalnızca bu ana stratejiye engel olmayacak ölçüde tasarlanmıştır. GBPJPY'de kısa pozisyonlar, birçok stratejide zarara eğilimlidir; bunun bir nedeni de swap oranlarının sıklıkla çok dezavantajlı olmasıdır. Grid yok, martingale yok, ortalama düşürme yok. Uzun ve kısa pozisyonların aynı anda tutulması (hedge) meydana gelebilir, ancak bu bir parametre ile açılıp kapatılabilir. TP/SL her zaman ayarlanır, bu nedenle zararlar sınırlıdır.
Ortalama pozisyon tutma süresi alışlarda yaklaşık 18 saat, satışlarda yaklaşık 7 saattir. Pozisyonlar hafta sonuna taşınabilir.
Backtest analizine göre, EA yılda yaklaşık 100-150 işlem gerçekleştirir. Nadir durumlarda, bir ay boyunca hiç işlem yapılmayabilir.
