AlgoTrade Trading Sessions draws the Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York sessions as boxes on the chart from the high to the low of each session, and shows on a card which sessions are open, when the next one opens, and each session's range against its average. It reads data only.
What it does
- Boxes for the sessions of recent days (5 by default) on charts up to H4, with the session name and its range in points. Colors fit a dark or a light chart, or can be set in the inputs.
- A card with each session: open or closed, time until it closes or opens, its hours in server time, the range so far or the last range, and the average range of the last 20 sessions.
- Shows which sessions overlap now, and the next session to open.
- Session hours are local exchange hours (Sydney 7 to 16, Tokyo 9 to 18, London 8 to 17, New York 8 to 17), adjusted for summer time in each country, so the boxes stay correct when the US, UK and Australia change their clocks on different dates.
- Shows UTC time, server time with its offset, your computer's time, and the server time zone.
Server time zone
- Auto reads the server offset from the terminal and checks which summer time rule it follows (US, EU and UK, or none) against the week opens in the price history. Manual lets you set the offset and the summer time rule.
How to use
- Attach the indicator to any chart. Session hours, days of boxes, colors and the number of sessions in the average can be changed in the inputs.
- Click "Fold" to show a single line, or "Show" to display the full card. The card corner can be changed in the inputs.
Inputs: each session on or off with its local opening and closing hour, days of boxes (0 = card only), text on the boxes, box colors, server time zone (Auto or Manual offset and summer time rule), sessions in the average, card corner.

- This indicator reads data only and does not open, modify, or close trades.
- Ranges come from M5 prices. Holidays are not known: on a holiday a session shows as open, and "no prices yet" when no price has come since it opened.
