Hello, fellow traders. I would like to introduce this Price Action EA strategy. It is built from my own trading experience, gathered through continuous trading over the past 5 years, and I have written the strategy into automated entry rules. The aim is to reduce the time spent watching charts and to reduce mistakes caused by emotion, by keeping the trading rules disciplined, which helps us stay in the market over the long run.
I ask every investor to test it yourself: run backtests and try it on a demo account before making your own decision. I hope this strategy helps your investing to some degree. Trading a high number of trades does not always mean making a profit. From my experience, the market has changed a great deal, driven by traders' emotions, yet it still broadly follows market direction. Various risk factors may also affect trading in the future.

• Signals are filtered by the EMA200 trend, D1 SMA50, ADX and a daily market-regime analyzer.
• Every trade has an ATR-based stop loss and a trailing stop · no new entries on Fridays.
• Lot size is calculated from the % risk, with a hard cap of 5% risk per trade.
• 20% drawdown kill-switch: if the account falls 20%, new entries pause for 3 days · Engine C de-risks when drawdown reaches 12%.
• An on-chart dashboard shows monthly P&L and engine status.
• The win rate is low (about 30%), but the average win is about 4 times the average loss. Users must be able to tolerate long losing streaks (up to 24 trades in testing).
• Market conditions that may not suit it: sideways, choppy markets with frequent reversals; brokers with high spreads or commissions; and accounts below the recommended balance.
• Out-of-sample (OOS) test 2012–2018 with $10,000: PF 1.47, DD 7.69%, slightly below the 1.5 target, and history data quality for that period was only 59%.
• The forward test on a demo account is still in progress.
• No usage time limit: install once and run continuously. No extra data files or .set files are required.
• Requirements: MetaTrader 5 hedging account · symbol GOLD/XAUUSD on H1 · a VPS or PC online 24/5 · no .set file needed.
• Installation: copy the .ex5 file to MQL5\Experts, restart MT5, drag the EA onto a GOLD H1 chart and enable Algo Trading.
All results come from backtesting in MT5 (Every tick, 1:500 leverage, 99% history quality, 2018.04.01–2026.09.30) and are simulated, not live trading results. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Trading leveraged products carries a significant risk of loss. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose.
