MA 1 Period - the calculation period of the fast moving average. MA 1 Method - the method of calculating the fast moving average (SMA, EMA, SMMA, LWMA). MA 1 Style & Width - visual customization options for the fast moving average line. MA 2 Period - the calculation period of the slow moving average. MA 2 Method - the method of calculating the slow moving average. MA 2 Style & Width - visual customization options for the slow moving average line. Enable MA 3 - a switch to display an optional third moving average to act as a long-term trend filter. MA 3 Period - the calculation period of the filter moving average. MA 3 Method - the method of calculating the filter moving average. Arrow Up Color - the color of the buy signal arrow placed below the candle wick. Arrow Down Color - the color of the sell signal arrow placed above the candle wick. Alert Popup - enables terminal audio and visual alerts on crossover. Alert Push - enables notifications to the mobile terminal. Alert Email - enables sending signals by email.

Is the moving average being redrawn (changing its values)? The moving average lines and the signal arrows do not redraw or change their values in history. The algorithm strictly waits for the signal candle to completely close before printing the arrow and triggering the alert. This means that once a crossover is confirmed and an arrow appears on the chart, it is permanently locked in place. You will never encounter disappearing signals, making this a perfectly reliable tool for both historical visual backtesting and real-time trading.

How to interpret signals from intersecting moving averages? There are a lot of ways. The very fact of crossing is a strong signal of a change in market momentum. The classic approach is to buy when the fast line crosses the slow line upwards (Golden Cross) and sell when the fast line crosses downwards (Death Cross).
