Gold Adaptive M15
Gold Adaptive M15 is an automated Expert Advisor developed specifically for trading Gold (XAUUSD) on the M15 timeframe.
The EA uses a multi-condition trading approach designed to identify short-term price imbalances and corrective movements within changing Gold market conditions.
The strategy does not rely on a single entry signal. Several internal conditions evaluate market direction, recent price movement, volatility and the quality of a potential setup before a position is opened.
Trading Approach
Gold Adaptive M15 combines two main concepts:
- trading selected pullbacks within an established market direction;
- mean-reversion entries after specific short-term price extensions.
The exact internal signal calculations are intentionally built into the EA and are not exposed as user-adjustable parameters.
This helps keep the trading logic consistent and reduces the risk of accidental over-optimization.
Position Management
The EA can build a position through several controlled entries when more than one internal condition confirms the same market opportunity.
Positions are managed as a trading campaign rather than as isolated trades with a fixed Take Profit.
A fixed Take Profit is not required.
Instead, the EA monitors market development after entry and can reduce or close exposure when its internal exit conditions are reached.
Every campaign is protected by a market-structure-based Stop Loss.
Adaptive Market Filtering
Gold behaves very differently during quiet and highly active market periods.
The EA therefore evaluates current market conditions before accepting selected setups.
Some trading signals can be ignored when volatility or price structure does not meet the required conditions.
Gold Adaptive M15 does not necessarily open trades every day. The EA waits for market conditions that meet its internal trading criteria, so there may be days when no trades are opened at all.

The minimum recommended starting capital is $500.
Before using the EA, make sure that your broker supports a minimum trading volume of 0.01 lots for XAUUSD. Some brokers may have a minimum volume of 1.00 lot. Testing was performed with 1.00 lot.
Actual capital requirements depend on the selected trading volume, broker contract specifications, leverage and current Gold volatility.
Users should select a trading volume appropriate for their account size and personal risk tolerance.
Gold can experience large and rapid price movements. Historical or Strategy Tester performance does not guarantee future trading results.
Installation
- Open an XAUUSD chart.
- Select the M15 timeframe.
- Attach Gold Adaptive M15 to the chart.
- Enable algorithmic trading.
- Select an appropriate trading volume.
- Keep MetaTrader 5 running continuously or use a VPS.
The EA includes internal state management designed to maintain trading campaign information when MetaTrader 5 or the Expert Advisor is restarted.

Gold Adaptive M15 is designed specifically around the behavior of XAUUSD.
The internal strategy parameters have been deliberately protected and simplified for the user. The Expert Advisor is intended to operate primarily with its default strategy settings rather than being continuously optimized on historical data.
Before using the EA on a live account, users are encouraged to test it in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester and on a demo account with their own broker conditions.
