🔥 THE CONCEPT BEHIND TOKYO SNIPER SHIN
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The core development question behind Tokyo Sniper is:
“Why do real-demand flows appear in USDJPY at specific times of the day?”
Rather than simply combining conditions that performed well in historical tests, Tokyo Sniper Shin focuses on a more fundamental question:
“Why does this price behavior occur?”
Market structure and the underlying reason behind each condition are treated as essential.
Based on data collected through the operation and evaluation of Tokyo Sniper Classic, each logic was re-examined for Shin.
Instead of adding parameters simply to fit recent market conditions, Shin was rebuilt from the original question:
“Why does the flow appear at that specific time, and why does it fade afterward?”

⚙️ FOUR INDEPENDENT REAL-DEMAND FLOW LOGICS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
【1】Gotobi-Day Buy Logic
This logic focuses on Japan’s well-known “Gotobi” settlement days, when corporate import payments can create increased demand for US dollars.
Target dates:
5th / 10th / 15th / 20th / 25th / Month-end
The logic seeks to capture dollar demand that may develop ahead of the 9:55 a.m. Tokyo fixing.
In Shin, Gotobi days are not treated as one identical group.
The time characteristics of each type of Gotobi day were re-evaluated individually.
【2】Gotobi-Day Sell Logic
This logic targets potential reversals after the Tokyo fixing.
A checkpoint is used after the trade has been open for a certain period of time.
Position management changes depending on whether the trade is in profit or loss, allowing the EA to respond to the time-based characteristics that can appear after the fixing.
【3】Non-Gotobi Logic
USDJPY time-based behavior is not limited to Gotobi days.
Distinct price behavior can also appear during specific periods on ordinary trading days.
Tokyo Sniper Shin does not select these periods simply because they produced attractive backtest results.
The key question is:
“Can this time window be explained by an underlying real-demand flow?”
Time periods with weaker justification are removed, with trade quality prioritized over trade frequency.
【4】Integrated Stabilizer
The three primary logics are not simply run independently at all times.
They are integrated with consideration for market conditions and volatility.
The objective is to reduce excessive dependence on any single logic and improve the overall balance of the EA.
