SmartGRID 12Strategies is a self-adjusting grid trading system for XAUUSD (Gold). Instead of relying on a single entry trigger, it confirms entries through up to 12 independent strategy modules, then manages the resulting basket with a multi-layer profit-lock and risk-control engine -- so position sizing, spacing and exit targets all scale automatically with your account balance.
ENTRY ENGINE -- 12 Strategies
The EA evaluates up to 12 independent signal modules every new bar and only fires when your chosen confirmation threshold is met:
- Trend Pullback

- Stochastic Overbought/Oversold
- Price Action
- EMA Cross
- Fibonacci
- Pivot Point
- ADX Trend
Each strategy can be toggled on/off independently, and "Min Confirm" lets you require N-of-12 strategies to agree before the first leg opens -- so you can run it as a single trusted signal or a confirmation-based voting system.
A separate first-leg Trend Filter (EMA50 + RSI zones, with an extreme-RSI reversal mode) can be layered on top of any strategy combination to avoid trading against the dominant trend.
GRID & MONEY MANAGEMENT
- Auto-Adaptive Capital Preset: pick a tier (100 / 500 / 1,000 / 5,000 / 10,000 USD or AUTO) and the EA recalculates lot size, grid step and basket stop-loss to match -- no manual recalculation when you change account size.
- 5 lot-progression modes: Fixed Multiplier (Martingale), Progressive, Fibonacci-style Additive, Flat, and Linear.
- Configurable grid step multipliers per depth tier (legs 1-2, 3-4, 5+) so spacing can widen as the basket grows.
PROFIT-LOCK & EXIT LAYERS
- Basket TP/SL in USD or % of balance.
- Basket Trailing -- arms once basket profit reaches a trigger, trails the peak.
- Basket BE Lock -- a capital-protection floor that runs BEFORE basket trailing: once armed, it closes the basket the moment profit drops back to a minimum floor, so a winning basket can never round-trip back to breakeven or worse.
- Per-Trade Trailing on leg #1, with its own breakeven and two-stage trailing distances.
- Hybrid Leg-SL mode: a lone leg keeps its own stop-loss; once the basket extends to 2+ legs, individual leg stops are dropped in favor of the basket-level stop (avoids a single leg getting stopped out while the basket is still recovering).
RISK & SESSION GUARDS
- Equity Guard: closes everything and locks trading for the session if floating drawdown breaches your limit.
- Daily-Close Guard: stops new entries ahead of the broker's daily server restart and resumes after a configurable delay.
- Weekend Guard: force-closes all baskets ahead of the weekend and blocks new entries (including an optional Sunday block) to avoid weekend gap risk.
- News Kill: blocks entries around configurable high-impact news windows, filterable by currency.
- Hourly Kill: optional block around each hourly candle close to skip the volatility spike at the top of the hour.
- Session profit target / loss limit with auto-lock, plus a cut-loss cooldown that pauses new entries for a set number of seconds after a basket stop-out.
MONITORING
- On-chart dashboard showing capital tier, basket P/L, session timer, lots traded, guard status (Daily-Close / Weekend / News / Hourly Kill) and a one-click Pause/Resume + Close-All panel.
- Visual TP / SL / breakeven / margin-call-warning lines plotted directly on the chart.
ACCOUNT REQUIREMENTS
- Hedging account required (the EA can hold simultaneous BUY and SELL baskets on the same symbol).
- Recommended minimum balance: $500-$1,000 depending on the Capital Preset tier selected; use the AUTO preset if unsure.
- Symbol: optimized for XAUUSD. Always forward-test on a demo account first and confirm broker stop-level/spread fit your chosen preset before going live.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- This is a grid/martingale-style system: it averages into losing positions to recover them, which means floating drawdown is part of normal operation, not a bug. Use the Equity Guard and Basket SL inputs to define your own maximum risk before running on a live account.
