Kiwi Grid and Seed Trade Manager MT4 is an interactive trading Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4, combining an automatic seed-entry engine, manual trade support and smart grid basket management in one easy-to-use dashboard.
The EA is designed primarily for traders who want to start with a single seed trade and allow the system to manage the position if price temporarily moves against the initial entry.
Unlike a basic Grid EA that immediately starts opening multiple positions, Kiwi Grid and Seed Trade Manager first waits for an initial trade. This trade can be generated automatically by the built-in Seed Entry system or opened manually by the trader.
The Grid Manager then takes control of the basket according to the selected settings.
Dual Seed Mode — Automatic or Manual
One of the main features of Kiwi Grid and Seed Trade Manager is its Dual Seed architecture.
The EA can operate with:
AUTO SEED ON — the built-in Seed Entry engine searches for trading opportunities and automatically opens the initial trade.
AUTO SEED OFF — the trader can open the first trade manually and allow the Grid Manager to manage it.
Manual trades can also be recognized while Auto Seed mode is enabled, providing flexibility between automated and discretionary trading.
Three Seed Entry Profiles
The automatic Seed Engine provides three selectable entry profiles directly from the interactive dashboard:
CONSERVATIVE — more selective entries with stronger filtering.
NORMAL — balanced filtering between selectivity and trading frequency.
FREQUENT — relaxed entry conditions designed to generate more seed opportunities.
The profile can be changed directly from the chart without reopening the EA settings.
Smart Grid Basket Management
When an eligible seed trade moves against the entry, the Grid Manager can progressively add positions according to the configured Grid Distance and Multiplier.
BUY and SELL positions are handled as separate baskets.
The dashboard displays important information including:
- BUY basket status

- Number of orders
- Total basket lots
- Basket profit/loss

Scaled Money Target
The Money Target system is designed to adapt to the original seed size.
Instead of treating the configured target as an identical fixed amount for every possible seed lot, the target is referenced to the 0.01 lot seed size.
For example, if the Target / 0.01 Lot is set to $1.00, larger initial seed sizes can produce proportionally larger basket targets.
This makes the Grid Manager more practical when different lot sizes are used.
Independent BUY and SELL Baskets
BUY and SELL trades are managed independently.
This means the EA can monitor the BUY basket separately from the SELL basket, with individual basket statistics and management.
The dashboard provides dedicated controls to close either side without necessarily closing the opposite basket.
Drawdown Protection
Grid strategies can increase exposure as additional positions are opened, so risk control is an important part of the system.
Kiwi Grid and Seed Trade Manager includes configurable drawdown protection and continuously displays the current Drawdown status on the dashboard.
The EA can stop/restrict its trading process when the configured protection threshold is reached.
Users should always select Grid Distance, Maximum Orders, lot size and Multiplier according to their account size and personal risk tolerance.

The EA should normally be attached to one XAUUSD chart and allowed to manage the symbol according to the selected settings.
Broker symbol specifications can vary, so Grid Distance, spread limits and lot sizes should always be checked before live trading.
Important Risk Information
Kiwi Grid and Seed Trade Manager uses a Grid trading system.
Grid trading can create multiple positions and significantly increase market exposure during prolonged directional movements. Increasing the lot multiplier can further increase both potential returns and potential drawdown.
A multiplier of 1.00 maintains fixed-size Grid orders, while values above 1.00 progressively increase exposure.
