Kiwi Spread Monitor MT5
Kiwi Spread Monitor MT5 is a free MetaTrader 5 utility designed to help traders monitor the current bid/ask spread and understand trading costs directly from the chart.
Spread can change significantly during volatile market conditions, news events, session changes, rollover periods, or periods of reduced liquidity. Kiwi Spread Monitor provides a clear on-chart dashboard so traders can quickly see whether the current spread is within their preferred trading range.
The utility does not open trades or provide trading signals. It is designed as a monitoring and decision-support tool.

Spread Cost Calculator
The utility includes an estimated spread-cost calculation based on the selected reference lot size.
For example, you can set:
Reference Lot: 0.10
The dashboard then displays an estimated cost associated with the current spread.
Actual execution costs may differ because of commissions, slippage, contract specifications, execution conditions and broker pricing.
Customizable Alerts
Users can configure a spread threshold and optionally enable:
Popup alerts • Sound alerts • Push notifications
An alert cooldown is included to reduce repeated notifications when the spread remains above the selected threshold.
How to Use
- Attach Kiwi Spread Monitor to any MT5 chart.
- Select your preferred spread display settings.
- Configure normal, high and extreme spread thresholds.
- Set a reference lot size if you want to monitor estimated spread cost.
- Enable alerts if required.
- Monitor the dashboard before and during trading.
