LG Prop Firm Risk Manager Pro
Overview
LG Prop Firm Risk Manager Pro is a MetaTrader 5 risk management utility designed for traders who trade prop firm style accounts, evaluation challenges or funded accounts with strict daily drawdown and maximum loss rules.
The tool does not generate entry signals. It works as a protective risk layer that monitors account equity, balance, daily loss, maximum loss and optional trailing drawdown conditions. When a configured rule is breached, the utility can automatically close managed positions, delete pending orders and lock further protection actions.
The main purpose of the program is to help traders follow strict account rules with more discipline and less emotional decision-making.
Core Purpose
Prop firm accounts often have fixed rules such as daily loss limits, maximum loss limits and sometimes trailing drawdown rules. Violating these rules may result in account failure even if the trading strategy is otherwise profitable.
LG Prop Firm Risk Manager Pro continuously monitors the account and can react when the account approaches or reaches the configured limits. It can be used together with manual trading, semi-automatic trading or other Expert Advisors.

Daily Loss Protection
The program can monitor the daily loss based on either the daily starting equity or the daily starting balance. Users can configure the daily loss limit in account currency, percentage, or both.
Maximum Loss Protection
The utility can monitor the maximum account loss based on the initial challenge balance or the highest recorded equity, depending on the selected settings. This helps users model different prop firm account rules.
Trailing Drawdown Protection
Some prop firms use a trailing drawdown rule. LG Prop Firm Risk Manager Pro can track the highest equity and calculate a trailing threshold based on a fixed money amount or percentage. When equity falls below the calculated threshold, the protective actions can be triggered.
Profit Target Lock
The utility can also monitor a profit target. When the target is reached, the program can close managed positions and optionally lock the account from further activity. This is useful for evaluation-style accounts where preserving the target can be more important than continuing to trade.
Trade Filtering
The tool can manage:
- All symbols or one selected symbol
- Manual positions
- EA positions
- Positions and pending orders with a specific Magic Number
This makes it useful for traders running multiple strategies on the same account.
Recommended Usage
Recommended steps:
1. Attach the EA to one chart.
2. Set the initial challenge balance.
3. Configure the daily loss, maximum loss and optional trailing drawdown rules.
4. Decide whether to manage all trades or only a specific symbol/Magic Number.
5. Test all settings on a demo account.
6. Use conservative values and always keep a safety buffer below the official prop firm limits.
7. Monitor the account regularly.
Important Note
This utility is a risk management tool, not a guarantee. It cannot override broker execution conditions, market gaps, slippage, spread widening or platform disconnections. For this reason, users should always set limits more conservatively than the official prop firm rule limits.
