RealCost Auditor MT5 is an execution-cost monitor for MetaTrader 5. It does not open, close, or modify trades. It watches the chart symbol, samples live spread, records executed deals, estimates signed slippage when the terminal exposes the requested price, and saves a local CSV audit file.
Many backtests use spread, slippage, commission, and swap assumptions that are cleaner than real trading conditions. This utility gives you broker and account data from your own terminal before you trust a scalper, EA, copy setup, VPS route, or prop challenge configuration.
Key features:
- Live spread monitor with current, average, p95, and maximum spread.
- Deal logger for entries and exits on the active chart symbol.
- Signed adverse slippage estimate when order/request price data is available.
- Tick drift estimate against the latest terminal Bid/Ask.
- Commission, swap, and profit totals.
- Suggested Strategy Tester spread based on observed p95 spread plus p95 adverse slippage.
- Local CSV export for Excel, Google Sheets, or a trading journal.
- Optional alerts for abnormal spread or adverse slippage.
- Works with manual trading, EAs, copy trading, and trade panels.
- No DLL, no WebRequest, no external service, no account login data.
Who it is for:
- Scalpers checking whether execution costs are eating their edge.
- EA buyers comparing backtest assumptions with live fills.
- Prop-firm traders monitoring hidden trading costs.
- Signal-copy users measuring copier delay and fill quality.
- Traders comparing brokers, account types, VPS locations, or symbols.
What it does not do:
- It does not trade.
- It does not promise profit.
- It does not reduce spread or slippage.
- It does not send data to external servers.
- It does not replace broker statements or regulated reporting.
- It does not provide legal, financial, or investment advice.
Usage:
Attach RealCost Auditor MT5 to the symbol you want to audit. Keep it running while you trade manually, run an EA, or receive copied trades. After a session, open the CSV file from the terminal files folder and review the actual costs.
The dashboard shows a suggested Strategy Tester spread. This is not a prediction. It is a conservative calibration value calculated from observed live spread and adverse slippage samples.
